In room 4, great no noise from other guests, very clean, location superb, yes as mentioned, can hear large planes take off, the stop from 10... 6am, brilliant stay, would recommend for early morning flight 6 mins to South terminal.

Breakfast could be more varied. For example, variety of milks (oats etc).

Distance from Gatwick Airport is under 10 minutes is the BIGGEST factor. Parking is £5 per day whilst travelling on holiday.

The hotel cancelled our booking with no notice three days before. When we called to rectify this the staff member told us they couldn't amend this and to call back another day which was very stressful and unhelpful (we had two rooms booked so were concerned we would lose them if someone else booked). So we ended up booking again immediately to prevent this. It turns out they did send notice, to an email we haven't used for 4 years, but all other messages went to the correct one. We were notified a week before our stay there was no restaurant facility so we did eat en route but it was a little inconvenient. The receptionist told us they had booked us a taxi for airport transfer, even taking flight details, so when we were stood outside at 4am in the freezing cold it was only then the receptionist found the previous guy hadn't booked anything making us late to the airport. They also booked both rooms for a wake-up call as backup if we missed our alarms. They did this for one room but not the other, thankfully we ensured the others were awake but had we only had one room it could have been missed. The room was unbearably hot and there was no way to turn off the bathroom radiator so we didn't sleep well. We did put in a request regarding this for our return journey which wasn't responded to but we did get a room with air con so we counteracted the heat by putting the air con right up. They took payment for parking but didn't take our reg plate, we raised this with the staff member who rebooked us the airport transfer at 4am who thankfully rectified this but could have ended up having our car removed if this hadn't been picked up. TV only worked if you had a streaming device to attach to it so it would be helpful to know this before staying. They did say they currently have agency staff who have frequently not booked airport transfers/took car details etc and we guessed the lack of kitchen might be a staffing issue also.

Room was spotlessly clean, shower was good and we were given an external room near the rest of our party making it easier to leave at 4am (we had an early flight) without disturbing other guests. Staff were very friendly, helpful and polite on arrival. The parking tariff was very reasonable. Despite not having a working kitchen, the breakfast choice was varied and good quality.

It was a lovely place and the bonus of leaving your car to fly from Gatwick. Our room was spacious and clean and the buffet breakfast was good.

It would have been better if bar and restaurant was open as we needed to drive out for dinner. Also if you had an airport shuttle as the taxi was very expensive for a 10 minute journey.

The walls were quite thin as we could hear our neighbours talking from their toilet! Haha

The staff were great! Was greeted warmly by a fellow countrywoman upon arrival when I checked in quite late and upon finding that I was leaving really early the next morning, offered to prepare something from the kitchen. The regular breakfast spread looked very good tbh. Then when the taxi I booked didn't come on time, they helped to book another pronto!! I almost missed my flight that day!!

Staff being more helpful.

Room was very cosy bed exceptionally comfortable, Tea tray all you need. Breakfast we didnt get as had explained to staff when we arrived we had an early start. They said dont worry we are available all night. 4.30 no one to be found, waited 5 mins,so had to leave without it.

Carrying my cases up the stairs

No bar or restaurant facilities on site which would've been a bonus but we knew before we stayed. I could hear music all night which I thought was at a distance but found out when we went to leave at 3.30am was being played in the downstairs lounge.

The location was excellent, the room was large with good facilities and the beds were super comfy! Check in easy and staff lovely and helpful

The bathroom floor had some black spots which could have been old water mark's. Not a big deal really. I also could feel the spikes on the carpet rod into the bathroom. Again not a big deal. Dont be put off by this...

Got a wonderful welcome from the hotel receptionist / owner who was helpful and welcoming. She showed up to our comfortable room which was nearby. No restaraunt in the hotel or maybe it want open at the time. We were told about this when we booked so it wasn't a surprise to us.. We were informed that we could eat in the dining room if we wanted to order in food from elsewhere. Plenty of choice for breakfast even if there wasnt a cooked breakfast option.on this occasion.
