Breakfast was expensive. We would have liked the option to have an uncooked light continental breakfast.

Only one minor downside was not enough storage space for two adults but it might've been just in our room and in a way it is understandable as it is an old style building.

My partner and I stayed there in March 2024. Beautiful hotel in a central location. Complementary drink from the bar on the first night. Very comfortable bed, bath over shower, which was great for relaxing after long walks. Delicious and affordable breakfast with plenty of choice ( we paid in advance when booking, which was cheaper but can be paid for on arrival).

The room was quiet , clean, with a v comfortable bed. Easy parking, helpful staff, a lovely free glass of wine in the bar. Also, breakfast was great, loved the fresh cooked masala omelette - delicious. Great location too. Would come again.

The hotel carpark is small so you need to find parking elsewhere but there are lots of options to choose from.

From start to finish our stay was great. The staff are so helpful and friendly. We were checked in very quickly and efficiently by a very helpful staff member. She gave us really good advice on parking during our stay too. The bar staff were equally as friendly and the bar had a really nice atmosphere. We booked a standard double, which is fairly snug but very comfortable and perfect for our 1 night stay.

The only negative comment I would say is the bathroom ventilation was very loud.

Had a lovely stay, the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable too! The staff were super friendly and had a complimentary drink upon arrival. What a treat !

Although it had parking, this was first come…get a space. There is a car park up the road that you can park overnight for free.

No lift. If you have any disability, only stay on ground floor. Lots of narrow stairs, confusing layout. I have bad knees and with no luggage assist, made it difficult. In my room, shower was hard to step in due to being so high from floor, no shower mat to prevent slipping once in or trying to get out. Not trying to put down hotel for its stairs but I realized it was a big factor in my review. If stairs are not a problem for you, very nice guesthouse.

Great location. Everywhere in town was walkable, one block from city center and Stonehenge bus stop. Great helpful staff. Good internet. Free welcome drink.

We was in a superior room but was very noisy early morning as the boiler were in a cupboard outside the door and the staff were very noisy outside our room banging around so did not get much sleep

Was disturbed by a false fire alarm, attributed to steam from the bathroom in another guest's room. Throughout our stay, including the time the alarm was sounding, the door of the linen room on our escape route was wedged open, whether or not a staff member was present. This was an obvious hazard.

Air con wasn't working on the ground floor room we were initially given and I didn't want to open the window as we were on the ground floor, but they moved us soon enough.
