Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Kingdombar close 21.00 and front door therefore closed.and alarmed.the way out to go for a drink we would have in the bar had it been open was down 2 dark stairways without any handrails. this brought us out at side entrance round the corner from the front door. when you have description with a bar and restaurent which were not available i would say the advertising to say the least
very good breakfast The lady who made the breakfast also did the cleaning.It seemed that the hotel was a one band and totally disorganised WITHOUT HER THE HOTEL COULD NOT FUNCTION

United KingdomThe fob entrance at the side didn't always open. It took several attempts before you got in.
They looked after us. They apologise about the shower when we arrived. By the time we came back the problem was fixed as promised. The room didnt have a window to look out but a small window in the ceiling let's light into the room. As you are only sleeping in the room it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

United KingdomSadly the heating stopped working on Saturday night so it was very cold. It was fixed by the morning however the hot water system then broke so we cut our losses and came home early Sunday morning. Also someone else's dirty clothes had been left in the wardrobe, not really what we wanted to see. Despite these issues, we would like to go back, the heating and hot water issues were things out of anyone's control. Maybe a free cooked breakfast by way of an apology would've been a nice gesture. Also regarding the clothes, a more thorough room check would have solved this.
The hotel is very well decorated, very clean and the staff very pleasant.
