Blinds in the window would not close just to give us some privacy in the day time , due too not having a cord to tilt them .meaning we had to close the curtains which blacked out the room , saniflo toilets in rooms which is understandable but they are noisy

Great location right in near all shops & Victoria Station, staff at check in & those working below in the pub very friendly, breakfast plenty and a buffet one aswell & you can leave your luggage on your day of departure after check out

The shower room was a bit small and very close to the sink and shower, I had to rest my arm on the sink and legs were in the shower, but we wanted a room with a bathroom and this would not put us off staying again as only a minor issue.

The hotel is in a perfect location for the arena and city centre, shopping, bars and restaurants. The hotel is clean and staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely, the food was hot and looked and tasted fresh.

Kettle in bedroom had no plug by it so we had to plug it in by the bed and have it on the floor which was not very safe, plug in bathroom didn't stay in so had to keep water running, couldn't plug in fan as no plug socket only one was over the telly but you had to stand o chair and socket not very safe.

Location was good although abit noisy of a night, breakfast was good.

Plug was left pulled out of shower when we arrived which had hairs inside it and we found a few marks on bedding.

We loved the location, we were here for the AO arena and that was only a 4 minute walk away, we were also right next to the Arndale centre so we had everything we needed near by. The staff were very helpful and kind, the food was great and our room so very comfy.

Bed was a little small, it's a shared bathroom which was ok but the room and bathrooms could do with an update and some new decoration.

Fantastic old building with a lively pub at the bottom. Staff all helpful. Decent value and the location was ideal for the arena.

I arrived by car at night and stayed only for one night. Even though there was parking right in front of the hotel, nobody of the staff could tell me, that parking was free at night. I had to ask at the pub next door to get that information

Very old house with lots of atmosphere. The floor was not even and I felt like I was in an old movie :) Breakfast buffet was nice too

Room we stayed in was a little cold, there was a radiator that we turned up to the max but that didn't really heat the room. There was also a second electric radiator but we didn't use that, probably should have haha

Good locations and friendly staff, breakfast that's was included was great, very tasty!

The shower was the only thing that I was not impressed with to be honest. Very low pressure and on a timer

The hotel.was very nice and exceptionally quiet considering there is a bar downstairs. The room was very clean and well presented. Food was excellent and great value for money all round. Lovely staff too.

The bathrooms were a little unclean, particularly the showers. And one of the shower heads actually broke off the first time it was touched. Also, lots of stairs!

The location is superb and the bar is great. The staff are really welcoming and friendly both in the hotel area and the bar. We got pretty much what we paid for.

Shower in room 21 kept going hot and cool. Not a complaint as this is a very central hotel and it’s to be expected, but don’t book here if you are looking for peace and quiet.

No lift in the hotel (we stayed on the top floor which wasn't easy for my parents to walk up and down) but the building is old so assuming they cannot put a lift in.

The staff were all friendly, and always smiling when I communicated with them. Breakfast was nice and the decor in the breakfast room and seating area were nice. I like the old feeling of the hotel and the location was faultless. The separate bathroom was clean. Tea/coffee available in hotel room. Wifi worked fine in the room we stayed in. Surprisingly quiet during the nights considering its location.
