Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWe liked everything.
Warm welcome from friendly staff, fabulous well appointed room - tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean with huge comfy bed. Even though our room was at the front we couldn’t hear the passing traffic at all. Dinner was sublime. Continental breakfast is included in the room rate and there was a great selection of cereals, juices, yoghurts, croissants, fruit, toast etc. However for an additional £4.95 we opted to add the cooked option as well - what a bargain - amazing value and absolutely delicious - using quality locally sourced eggs, sausages and bacon. Never had so much food for £4.95! We couldn’t eat it all and asked for a takeaway box to enjoy later. Thanks for a great stay!

United KingdomOur room faced quite a busy road and even thought the windows were insulated lorries could be heard early in the morning. Even though we were woken by them on both days this did not effect our stay.
Clean, comfortable property. Lovely food at the restaurant below. Booking ahead was advisable. Friendly staff and plenty of parking at rear. I would stay here again.

United KingdomMe and my daughter have just returned from a nights stay whilst she was competing the Eisteddfod. I cannot find any fault with this lovely b&b, it was absolutely perfect. The room was big and clean, very comfy bed with tv and a private bathroom. We had food in the restaurant and it was one of the nicest meals I have ever had. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Especially of children which was welcome after experiencing a very negative reaction from another b&b close by that our friends were staying in.

United KingdomLiterally the only negative to my stay was the sound that carried very easily through the ceiling and floorboards, including noise from the kitchen (the very noisy dishwasher mainly). It wouldn't be enough to stop me from choosing to stay here again though, as all the pro's outweigh this slight negative.
Easy to find, just off the main road. Plenty of free parking available. Access available to the rooms 24/7 via external staircase, if you need to come and go outside the times the rest of the pub/restaurant is open. Rooms lovely- nicely decorated, up to date bathrooms, very comfortable bed. Everything you need. Continental breakfast was included and was plenty for my needs. Cooked breakfast available at an upgrade. Evening meal was delicious. Plenty to choose from on the menu and a nice atmosphere, even as a solo traveller.

United KingdomIt’s on a busy road although the double glazing did filter out the traffic noise during the night.

United KingdomThis pub is actually on the Severn Way - which we are walking - and I think they should market the property as the perfect location for people doing the Severn Way. Staff were absolutely delightful coping with muddy boots and our desire for a room with a bath. Yummy food.

United KingdomOur only caveat relates to the position of our room, 5. Although the window is double glazed it is close enough to the A483 for lorries and inevitably motor bikes to be intrusive early in the morning from 6am. I’m not sure there’s an answer to this.
Without exception the staff were helpful and notably ‘smiley’. This makes such a difference. It was spotlessly clean and the food was good. The bed in our room was very comfortable. We got the impression of a highly competent management team.

United KingdomWhere i was given to sit for my evening meal was dark to read the menu. Quite cold, when main two doors opened, people entering & leaving and bar opening behind me. Could hear traffic noise & car radios blasting - near main road in the countryside.
Good shower.Room private. Popular place for food - good menu. Good quality of food and potions served. Staff knowledgeable about menu, when asked. Good range of gins. Continental breakfast included, could have had various cooked options at extra cost. Staff, happy to offer more options than cereal, fruit, yoghurt and croissants. Nicely decorated where breakfast served. Staff busy getting ready for day for Mother's. Good place to tour from / to. Nice places to visit nearby. Ample parking space, with lights. Outdoor patio area for Summer dining & garden area surrounding. Lots of staff serving on Saturday night, all very polite and tidy.

United KingdomBilling system between bar and room tabs. Second visit, was wrong again... in our favour but £150 short... we did tell them and pay but the hassle to sort is not helping us relax. Bed and floor creeks but didn't spoil.
Staff great, spotlessly clean, location, well equipped, good food, warm, plenty of parking.
