The only downside was the steep walk up from Sowerby Bridge if you didn’t drive up, otherwise everything was wonderful

The property was very clean and warm with everything you could want. The complimentary porridge and croissant were a nice touch with as much tea and coffee as you desired. Very good communication with the host and friendly staff on site.

It was clean and well presented. I loved the fact they had a fan in the room as I like it cool on a night. The bed was comfy. I liked being able to just arrive when I did and use the self check-in very easy and accessible

Shame about the adjoining pub next door being closed, but to no fault of the hotel. Instant porridge and pastries were provided in the rooms. Better pillows would be good as the ones provided did give much support.

Immaculately clean. Fab shower. Very comfortable bed. Well equipped room. Excellent value for money. Will definitely stay there again.

Little bit tired decoration wise, lots of scuffs and marks on walls, needs a lick of paint. Booking out is a little early being 10:00am, 11 or 12:00 would be better.

Tight climb for some to front door of bedroom Late check in ..4 pm No lamp on one side of bed Very dusty behind night tables and wall beneath fabulous mirror dirty and scuffed No adequate light for huge mirror in bathroom but great fir the rest of room ..but very dull to see yourself One pillow very lumpy ... Fire alarm sounded off very scary 3 times I phoned they answered immediately.. was resolved Big daddy long legs in corner outside bathroom Noises from quests till about 10 pm bikers on ground floor Was looking forward to pub being open but it was not No food served ( we brought a picnic) No breakfast as such ... light snack provided

We would have liked somewhere nearby to go in the evening. The lanes and hills made for very difficult driving so we walked down to get some food and drinks. The road back up is incredibly steep and being 74 years old , I really struggled.

The room and bathroom were fine and very clean. We had a balcony room which was good. As there is nowhere to get breakfast we were left some pastries and 2 pots of porridge. Tea and coffee with plenty of milk and sugar. Value for money.

The only thing I would have liked would have been a hairdryer in the room. But I knew there wasn’t one before booking so I brought my own, but it’s just nice to not have to carry that round in a heavy bag. Other than that, it was great!

I liked that the check-in was completely hassle free. Just simply had to follow the instructions texted to myself which told me the code for the key box outside our room and that was it! The room was spacious, the shower was lovely and I liked the little touches for breakfast which included x2 porridge pots, x2 croissants and a mixture of teas, coffee etc.

I struggled to get the key out of the lockbox as it was stiff, but managed eventually. If you struggle with stairs you need to make this clear when booking, as the stairs to upstairs rooms are quite steep, plenty of ground level options. The view from the upstairs rooms is lovely.

Parking is very easy and plentiful. The location is beautiful and quiet. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. Everything you may need is in the room. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk. 2 bottles of water. Lovely touch of porridge and croissants. The room was lovely and warm. Very cosy. Once I had managed to get the key out of the lockbox things were very easy. The text I received with instructions was perfect, all the necessary information and a contact if assistance was needed. I will definitely stay again.

Very high steep roads. I don't think I would be able to manage drive in the winter.

Very clean the lady we saw every morning very helpful and friendly. Fantastic views and scenery.x
