Just one little thing, the emergency light in the room was so bright that I was impossible for me to sleep, we had to cover it.

Top place, from the booking you will receive information via email, to keep you up to date, and they will reply to any queries. Very refreshing. From first greeting to the last farewell it was a Joy. Great welcome, very freindly. Our suitcase taken to our room, what a room! spacious, clean comfortable, coffee machine good selection of goodies. lovely shower room with great quality of bathroom products provided. You will find a lot of local information about the area. Rambling, places to visit etc. Good beer in the bar. The breakfast is not just a breakfast, it's a piece of art. Just opened and cannot fault it. Will return.

We liked everything and wish we could have stayed for another night.

The staff at the new inn could not have been more welcoming to us and our two dogs. We arrived later than anticipated but we were still able to get a delicious beverage from the bar. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated and bedding and bowls had been provided for the pups which was a lovely touch. The property is not far from the motor way but feels worlds away, set in the heart of a peaceful little village.

The fact to New Inn is having to close down because of ridiculously high heating and lighting bills.

Lovely (but only) continental breakfast. Great part log the country halfway from Highlands to home in South Buckinghamshire. Great stop off place.

We have known this pub for around 30 years in its various ownerships. The present occupants are by far the best we have known and it is a real sadness that they are closing permanently next month.

Everything.. the decor in the rooms is absolutely fabulous. Someone has great interior design taste. The beds were super comfy, and the smeg fridge was a great touch. Normally, hotels that accept dogs are a little tired and run down. This place was perfect.. unbelievably clean and very modern but with a retro feel.. The food was delicious, and it was so peaceful. Very close to different nature reserves. We all loved our stay ❤️ thank you for such a beautiful experience

Nothing to criticise.

From the first telephone conversation making arrangements for a late check out to our goodbyes at the end of our stay the staff could not have made us feel more welcome. A beautifully furnished inn with superb attention to detail and style and a fully equipped bedroom with direct access to the garden for our convenience with the dog. The evening meal was delicious with original and varied choices on the menu and a nice selection of wines. The Continental breakfast was similarly excellent. It is a very great shame that the owners have found the Inn not to be viable with the current very high energy costs and are selling their business that they have clearly worked so hard on in the last few years. Their customers can only hope they can sell to someone else who is able to take the business forward. I wish the owners and staff well for their immediate future.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Modern amenities. Good sound proofing, can't hear the restaurant/pub downstairs. Continental breakfast has lots to offer, meat cheese yogurt croissant toast & assorted cereal. Little rustic radio in room is a nice touch.

Lack of evening food Monday and Tuesday. We were recommended somewhere close by which was good but car essential. Only continental breakfast but it was good.

The bedroom needed a wardrobe.

The location is exceptional a beautiful; area for walking and a get away. The room was elegantly and fashionably decorated and furnished but has also managed to balance this with complimenting the old beautiful building. The staff were attentive and warm and professional and there food was absolutely outstanding. I thoroughly recommend this place.

The room was lovely. Comfortable and spacious. Very comfy beds. Lots of extra little touches......milk in fridge, bedside reading, large flat screen TV. The evening meal was excellent and the continental breakfast was copious. Staff all very friendly and informative.

Stylish decor, super comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom with gorgeous toiletries, fluffy towels, hot water, awesome coffee machine, quiet and restful location, lovely welcoming staff... Honestly, couldn't have asked for more. Loved my stay - slept better than at home. Will for sure be returning when next in area!
