Parking the car was tricky, tight access plus deep pot holes in the drive way surface made manouvering car tricky. ( Hosts did give us notice before arrival so this helped our expectations)

Loved the view position of the property and easy check in. Place was very clean, comfortable compact and warm and cosy. Liked that the kitchen was well equipped.

Lounge space/diner/kitchen somewhat compressed but perfectly adequate in most respects.

Nothing really. Parking is a bit tricky if you have a larger car so I opted to park on the quiet road outside after the first night.

Superb location and views from ground and first floor. Generous provisions on arrival. Very well kitted out property with two TVs, dishwasher and moderen cooker. Nice shower room with easy access walk in shower. Large bedroom on first floor.

a great location with fantastic views and we had a wonderful windy coastal/woody walk up to the lighthouse on the evening! The Nook was spotlessly clean and comfortable, it was peaceful and had everything we needed! Never got to meet the owners in person but communication was excellent via email. We visited Portishead and Clevedon and several other places around the area and Severn beach on the way home! Would definitely recommend and will hopefully stay again! Thankyou 🙂

Super easy to get the keys from the lockbox outside. Lovely little property that has everything you could think of. Really clean and super cosy. Beautiful views from sitting room and bedroom. Good location for beach walks and close enough for a quick drive to other towns.

Very comfortable with excellent lay out. Particularly liked that they had thought of everything one might need, even spare toiletries in case anything had been forgotten plus fresh fruit juice and milk in the fridge. Binoculars for the view was also a lovely touch!

The accommodation is situated at the top of a hill and the entrance drive is narrow and steep. We are elderly and found it a little tricky to reverse out down the slope - but that was mainly due to our advanced years! The stairs inside are also a little steep but well carpeted so non slip, and there is a good hand rail.

This is a really lovely self contained annexe attached to the side of the owner’s home. The view from the top of the hill out over the Bristol Channel - with Wales in the distance - is lovely. The accommodation was light and airy, absolutely pristine with everything obviously new and as clean as a new pin. Everything necessary is provided - and more! We had such a comfortable stay and would recommend The Nook to anyone wanting a great place to stay near Bristol.

Steep slope up to the property, so reversing the car is not for the faint hearted, or the infirm.

For me it was very quiet and away from things, but ideal if you are happy to drive around. I only had a one night stop over.

Everything had been thought of and provided. Lovely new looking modern interior. Next to the friendly owner, so handy if needed. Milk and juice in the fridge. Restricted breakfast items, presumably because of covid.
