We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomGreat stay at The Nook in Saltburn. Geoff, contacted us personally before our arrival and pulled out all the stops to get us into the property before our actual check in time. Was there to meet us on arrival and talked us through all the need to knows about the property. The personal touch was a welcome change from contactless arrival. A beautiful accommodation with amazing views and a stone throw away from all the local attractions. Will definitely be coming back again. Thank you Geoff and family.

United KingdomAs a light sleeper, the car noise was a bit of an issue. But my fiance slept soundly and it was clear before I booked it might be an issue for me, so I knew what to expect. But when everything else was so exceptional it was hard to complain too much. I would still very happily stay again.
A great apartment, recommend highly! The hosts were fantastic too. Perfect location, wonderful ambience. A true gem for relaxation.

United KingdomBeware the additional charges made by Host and Stay which are not clearly indicated in the cost of the booking. Either £25 insurance or £250 deposit of which only £240 is returned a month later.
The Nook is a special place and clearly loved and cared for by Geoff and Sue who are great hosts. We felt at home as soon as Geoff had welcomed us. The Nook is well designed and a lot of thought has gone into making sure it has everything you could want for a special stay away from home. The accommodation is all very comfortable with generous beds and rooms. The bathroom downstairs feels very luxurious and decadent.

United KingdomThe host and stay management company were difficult. A lot of unnecessary emails. A lot of emails and links sent in error. Very little information about arrival and finding the venue. Host and stay tried to take a £250 damage deposit, and charge £30 for the admin of it, which turns out was not necessary.
They had thought of everything. The owner met us at the door with the key and showed us around. Beautifully decorated to a high standard. View of the beach and sea. I just wish we knew we would be left a coffee machine, milk, food, toiletries, we really over packed!

United KingdomRoad was quite noisy (not enough to spoil anything). Not sure the apartment works for a family or two couples given only one toilet (en suite to master bedroom) and children would be on another floor. It was perfect for a couple.
Location was great (in terms of Sea View and proximity to amenities). Accommodation was fantastic for a couple - real attention to detail and some very nice touches.

The Nook is a beautiful, well-decorated property in an ideal location to explore Saltburn. We came for a long weekend and wanted to stay and explore the local area so it was good to have everything so close and not need to travel anywhere. It was walking distance from local shops and restaurants, and also from the beach and waterfront. It was also very handy that the funicular railway to the beach was just around the corner, which really helped as one of our family is not very mobile. We got a warm welcome from our hosts, with plenty of useful information about local amenities before we arrived and also a meet and chat when we arrived. There was also space to park our car, right outside the property.
