Walls between rooms are very thin, can hear shower doors being closed, people using the toilet and conversations word for word. Very disappointing as this was a birthday suprise. Dont want to hear people in the next room using the toilet.

The room was small, we could hardly find place for our suitcase. The fridge wasn't clean either.

The room had a very fresh style and the bed was quite comfortable.

Shame the location is on the edge of an estate. Our view was the back of houses with untidy gardens. But there is nothing they can do about that and they have made the property very comfortable.

A well maintained clean and comfortable room. 10- 15 minute walk into town. Keyless entry is a great idea. Good value and parking is handy.

The walk out of St. Ives to The Nook is all uphill so just be prepared for that - don't let it put you off though :)

The room we had was very comfortable with a large bed and private shower. The communication from the staff before & during check in was great and very helpful. We didn't realise before checking in that that there's a fully equipped kitchen which meant that we cooked a few meals for ourselves instead of eating out. The location was good, about 5-10 minutes walk from town - don't miss St. Eia for wine and food and Milieu for art. For the price paid, I can't imagine anywhere better in St. Ives - we'll definitely be back.

Lovely accommodation,nice walk to beach/town ( 5 mins down maybe 10 back up ) close to coastal path which was ideal for me,arranged earlier check in for me as was in St Ives early morning

It was not a real problem for us, but for some larger people, the en-suite was very compact.

WARNING! Careful when checking out and taking your bags down to the car if close to 11 o'clock as once that door shuts after 11 you cannot get back in. The code changes immediately. Not helping was that auto door return was on a rather aggressive setting and slammed into my partner as she was leaving a couple of times including the very last time. Luckily she had done a sweep of the room before walking out.

The shared kitchen although unusual was a nice way to meet other people.

No room service except 1 week staying. No human people readily available in case of an emergency like I got locked out and waited for many minutes, thankfully the cleaner came and helped me,

Efficient check in. However no one readily available if you’re locked out - answered after many minutes. Great kitchen facilities and communal garden. Perfect for long haul stays where you’d want to cook and chill.

It was quiet during our stay but the walls were thin and you could hear everything. Worried about privacy as a result.

The bedding was thin and cold overnight. Electric shower had minimal power. Paid for a king-size room but very small, so not sure if thats what we were allocated. There is no chest of drawers to put things on.

There was nothing I didn't like

The free parking outside the property. How easy it was to find. The overall impression was very good. The kitchen area was well equipped and very clean and tidy.

Some noise from adjacent rooms. I would expect Absolute peace at these prices. Parking was awful - bring a compact vehicle, park and get taxis. Walk down to town? You will only walk back once - it’s a killer on the calf muscles.

Misleading information. In the details it says you have Free toiletries Shower Washing machine Toilet Towels Linen Seating Area Internet facilities Refrigerator Ironing facilities Tea/Coffee maker Microwave Heating Hairdryer Kitchenware Electric kettle Oven Stovetop Toaster Clothes rack Toilet paper........I was very surprised to see other guests sharing one kitchen. I wanted to heat some milk but ended up with bacon fat in it as the other guests were frying whole lotta bacon and sausages and the fat kept flying everywhere. They need to metion that the kitchen is shared by other guests. ( unfortunately, some not very friendly)

A bit of a climb back up the hill but slow and steady wins the race. Should be noted that the hairdryer is only travel size. No hosts were present, all done by PIN code - just would’ve been nice to see a face.

Some mould in the bathroom. Shower was very awkward to use. Either boiling or freezing. Room ( no 6) was a bit small. Small wardrobe was ok but no drawers or cupboards for underwear or jumpers etc. ok for our three nights but we’d have struggled to last any longer We were lucky as going out of season we were the only ones there for two nights. I think it would be noisy if full.

Clean everywhere, well maintained mostly. Automatic lights in communal areas were appreciated. Communal kitchen was very well equipped. Good parking. Nice and warm. Comfortable bed. Nice towels. Heated towel rail. Nice toiletries. Cornish tea provided which was nice. Milk and coffee provided too.
