Nothing really, the only reason it didn’t score full marks is the kitchen was closed for a refit and the food on offer was not what I wanted.

It is a lovely pub and friendly staff

Had a little four in a bed moment as I found long term dust on the board above the bed and on top of the TV ... all these places were above eye level .... tiles in shower cubicle could do with mould mildew treatment 🤔 but I'm assuming cleaning staff may not be allowed to use certain products due to health and safety.... not sure ...

I loved the fact the room was on a split level which made it so much more spacious. Although the room was facing an extremely busy road was not disturbed by any road traffic whatsoever... the room was serviced daily left so clean and polished... did not have to book specific times for breakfast therefore no pressure ... vegan breakfast was very good 👍🏽 ample parking ... lovely staff

The kitchen was not working fully during our visit, so the menu choices were limited, howeverwhat we had to eat was delecious, tasty and plentiful.

The room was great, very clean and comfortable. Even though the Norway Inn is on a main road the traffic noise (which lessened a lot overnight) did not disturb us.

The radiator didn’t work in the bedroom (minor issue as not really necessary while we were staying) Bit disappointed that the room wasn’t serviced during our 3 night stay.

Perfect location for exploring Cornwall. Loved that it was a traditional Inn… but quiet Very comfortable bed and en-suite facilities. Friendly and kind staff Beautiful breakfast (and evening meals) Plenty of parking

There was nothing not to like. Oh maybe the trees across the road could be trimmed allowing a better view of the river Fal, but thats to do with the council and not the hotel.

the room although on the front with main road we did not hear the traffic good glazing and the super king size bed great, room large and spotless, staff really nice and helpful. Although we did not eat our main meals there as we were visiting family, it was always full, that says a lot. will stop here again and bring the family for a meal. thank you for a lovely break.

    Nothing at all!

Warm greeting on arrival. Beautiful large room with all facilities. Although next to a main road, there was no sound from passing traffic. Excellent evening meal and full selection of breakfast. Great choice of local beers. Staff, really pleasant and helpful. Free parking right outside our bedroom window . Would recommend and return without a doubt.

Dinner was average 'pub grub', which contrasted with the excellent breakfast. Ground behind the pub was a bit basic, not helped by the poor weather.

Easy to find, traditional inn with low ceilings and nice 'pub' atmosphere. Accommodation was above the pub but quiet and well appointed. Comfortable bed. Staff were really friendly and helpful, especially in sorting the single EV charging point. Excellent breakfast.

The only negatives were the occasional light bulb being out : needing replacement !

Breakfast was good with tasty local ingredients. Room was spacious and well furnished and comfortable. Evening meals in the bar area were presented, very reasonable on price and venue seemed popular with locals. Plenty of staff on duty and very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in five locations during our travels in England and Norway Inn was our favorite--so there are NO negatives in our opinion.

We had a LARGE king suite. A great value. The breakfasts which were included in the room price were HUGE if you wanted them to be--and very well prepared.

The in-room heating (appeared to be wall mounted electric oil-filled radiators) could NOT be made to function in either of our rooms AT ALL - giving the appearance of being past their best, with illegible small LED control panels - for which there were no instructions supplied. This was faulted-out to the staff on our first evening (of a 3 night stay) and, although we were informed that "the manager will come out tomorrow" - these were NEVER successfully remedied whilst we were there. We were provided with a small portable oil-filled radiator, which served our purposes OK - but suggest that, once frosts and 'proper' Winter sets in, the inability to heat bedrooms effectively will very likely prove to be an issue for future guests(!) Although the staff were generally very friendly, there was an occasion on one of the evenings, when a drinks/snack order was placed with the passing staff member - and after a 10 mins plus wait (were thinking just how long does it take to pour 2x drinks and grab a bag of snacks?) - the same staff member was chased, only to receive the reply: "The receipt machine is broken, so the order didn't go through..." - SO... have a backup system, then maybe?!!! (possibly we'd still be waiting?) Another observation was that many of the staff appeared to be very young and had the air of being rather inexperienced... but then we guess that everyone has to learn somehow.

The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and the beds were v.comfortable. Functional and clean bathrooms - with heated/steam free mirrors - always a nice touch. The bedroom anciliary double-gazing worked well to significantly reduce the passing traffic noise to the front (since property is right on the A39). The included breakfast was tasty. This is a friendly, cosy and clean Pub in an ideal location for both Truro and Falmouth (being roughly midway). We had the Sunday Carvery and thought that this was tasty and reasonable value for money. Although we did experience some issues, we would likely consider staying again. Our summary would be that it's a good venue that has the potential to be great, with some further attention to basic details (like: functional bedroom heating & more joined-up bar service).
