We stayed over a hot and sunny weekend so it’s worth noting that you can open the three velux windows to provide ventilation….very effective.

The Old Bakery is a lovely place to stay in Norwich. It has been finished to a high standard with excellent facilities. Close enough to stroll into the city but tucked away for peace and quiet. A small supermarket close by as well as greengrocer, pub and a few restaurants. Overall great!

It got a bit hot and we struggled with opening/closing the Velux windows although a fan was provided so not too bad.

I can't think of anything. Even if there had been a problem, I feel it would have been solved in an instant. The owners really do everything they can to make sure your stay is nothing short of amazing.

Oh, where do I even start? This place makes you feel right at home, even before you arrive. Really nice contact with Tom (the owner) lots of updates and information (the guest guide app is really helpful) prior to my arrival; and the contact continued throughout my entire stay - Tom was always just a WhatsAppp message away :) And of course it didn't stop there - the appartment itself is amazing. Warm, cosy, inviting - it looks just like the pictures you see online. Spotlessly clean. Everything you need is right there - from a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher to towels, hairdryer, ironing bord and even a washing machine and dryer! The location is amazing, too - a nice, quiet part of the town, with shops, coffee shops and pubs right around the corner and the inner city just a walk away (I was attending a course at NILE, and it took me only 15 minutes to get there by foot). If you don't want to walk, there is also a bus stop and you receive a parking permit if you travel by car. There is just so much more I could add, but let's cut a long story short: If you are plannung to travel to Norwich and The Old Bakery is avaiblable, don't look any further. Really don't. Just go ahead and book it, you'll be really glad you did. Hands down one of the very, very best stays I ever had - I'll definely come back. (Thank you so much for everything!)

The equipment includes everything you need for a multi-day stay, after a few days a broom or hoover would be useful. Very good communication with the friendly host, and we love the neighbourhood in Norwich.

Inspection cover in Unthank road close by made a constant noise as cars travelling towards the city and drove over cover. This noise was constant throughout the day and most of night.

The washing machine situation, going outside in the cold and rain to a small dark shed with no lights, impossible to read instructions that were attached to the wall.

Nothing about the property. People walking by we're a bit loud and the bedroom is by the pavement so, in the morning, it was a bit noisy...but the bed is so comfy I quickly drifted back off to sleep

This place is so well thought out. A great use of the space. It's spotless, well furnished, modern, bright, cosy, comfy. And the hosts are great - really helpful before check in and then with the info pack. They've really thought of everything that would make your stay a good one.

A little noisy early morning but it is off a main road into the city centre so to be expected.

An absolutely fabulous place which was tastefully modern and very cosy. Very clean and with such thoughtful touches it was clear the hosts really wanted you to enjoy your stay with them. Contact was exceptional and informative with further information available about the property and it's location which was brilliant as it was so near to Norwich centre aswell as having amenities on your doorstep. The Coop on the corner was handy for a late night chocolate treat!

We liked everything.

Property was perfect. Well decorated, warm, everything we needed there, very clean and homely. We felt at home. The location is great. A nice neighbourhood with plenty of little shops and a walk or quick bus/ car journey into city centre. Plus handy for Sainsbury arts centre near university too. Perfect for us as we drove up from London and could park here easily.

We loved everything, it was so tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean ,everything we needed for a couple of days xmas shopping. Supermarket opposite and very near the bus stop for city centre. Can hear noise from the road in the bedroom but wasn’t really an issue for us.
