Wow! What a gorgeous apartment…. It has been refurbished with passion and precision and it is just perfect. Very comfortable bed with stylish and elegant fittings. Kitchen is really well equipped and the huge windows on three aspects offer sensational views of the countryside. It is a fifteen minute walk into Fort Augustus.Felicity and Chris couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect.

Felicity & Chris met us to hand over keys and show us how to use facilities in the apartment - also very helpful giving us advice on where to go in the surrounding areas etc. The apartment had everything required for our self catering stay. It exceeded our expectations... beautiful place. Beautifully renovated rooms, we were blown away by the standard of the work done and still ongoing - attention to detail absolutely beautifully done. Outside area - stunning. Able to let our dog off his lead and run around, lovely to pop out for walks. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Felicity and Chris are excellent hosts. There was a major storm the day we were leaving, they were very helpful during this time and also gave us a bit extra time for us to check out as all the power went out!

Good location to explore the Highlands and only a short walk into Fort Augustus itself. Very tranquil with great walks and scenery. Within the apartment there was every facility that you could ask for.

The location was perfect, just a few minutes drive into the centre. The hosts gave suggestions of where to go and had made up a book to help.

Everything was superb. I can’t think of anything that could be improved.

We loved the style of the converted apartment. Whilst the character of the old building has been maintained the actual apartment was beautifully furnished with a well equipped kitchen and fabulous bathroom. Our hosts, Felicity and Chris, met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. Great care and attention had been made to ensure that the apartment had all the creature comforts to hand which, in turn, led to a wonderful stay. We would definitely recommend these apartments and wouldn’t hesitate in staying there again.

We write this review in English (al least we try) because we want to thank our hosts Felicity and Chris for the best holiday we ever had in The Old Convent in Fort Augustus. What is left to say after this statement? Only a few words: the apartment is beautifully renovated, perfectly equipped and absolutely clean and spotless. Felicity and Chris are very welcoming hosts and always ready for useful advices. Without their help we wouldn't have seen the Silver Sands of Morar, used the Glenelg Skye Ferry or eaten the delicious pizza at Beaufort House. We will never forget our stay in The Old Convent, many thanks Tanja und Stefan (Bielefeld, Germany)

We could not find fault with anything. Felicity and Chris gave us so much information about where to eat and places to visit, We cannot wait for our next visit to The Old Convent.

Chris and Felicity were extremely welcoming and helpful. The apartment was exceptional and a credit to them. Fort Augustus is the perfect base to explore the Highlands and the apartment was the perfect base in Fort Augustus! Would recommend without hesitation.

This time my wife, myself and our golden retriever stayed at the lovely spacious apartment on the first floor for four nights. It had lovely views and a large space for all of us. Felicity and Chris were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We loved all their attention to details in the apartment and also the garden which was amazing! Thank you and maybe there’s a third time to stay at this beautiful property if we visit the highlands again.
