Ideal location for family stays especially with the 2 adjoining bedrooms

Location was brilliant for local shops, pubs & restaurants. The character of the building was amazing and had retained lots of the old features. Parking is a real bonus in the middle of town. Fleur’s communication was very responsive after bringing a couple of very minor issues to her attention. Highly recommend

No lock on bathroom door but I’m sure this can easily be fixed before the next rental.

    Lovely, spacious, good location

The location of The Old Rose and Crown couldn't have been better. The owners thought of everything to make our stay very comfortable, the outdoor space was an added bonus. Very close to restaurants, takeaways and shops. We used Steves taxis and I would recommend them

Excellent location for St Neots and hosts kept us informed about the property.

Our preference would have been for 2 showers or at least a 2nd shower over the bath. Raised drain cover near to where you park cars was a trip hazard.

Excellent location for shopping and river walks. Great communication from hosts. Very clean with clear instructions on using the property. Unique décor from previously being a pub.

The property is on a busy road so traffic noise is inevitable-not necessarily a problem, but worth noting. Whilst a few teabags, kitchen roll, washing up liquid etc are provided, there was only approx. 1/2" of each product-at almost £1000 for 4 nights we felt a more plentiful supply of products would not be unreasonable to expect, and maybe a "welcome" pint of milk in the fridge?? The main TV wasn't tuned in. Some garden furniture is broken, plus the access gate will only stay closed if it is bolted. Unfortunately because the bolt is easily reached from outside the boundary, the gate is not secure. All that said, it's a lovely property and we would stay again

Convenient location for where we wanted to visit and close to local amenities. Spacious property, a bit quirky, full of character. The two sitting rooms would be great for groups. The courtyard is pleasant and relaxing. Parking is a big help.

Great base for our weekend stay. Hosts were friendly and helpful. House was very clean.

It would be good to have a downstairs toilet - we were only a party of 5 I would suspect with a full house only having 2 bathrooms may prove more of a challenge.

House due to its age is very interesting and quirky and must have a lot of history. Lovely surprise to find the piano - I am a musician so appreciated that. House had a lovely feel to it.

    Parking was not easy.

Very close to the centre of St. Neots. Lots of reception rooms and places to relax in. Great to have outdoor space.
