What a wonderful B&B! Beautiful location. Lovely decor throughout with a lovely en suite bathroom. Emma was a charming hostess and made us feel very welcome. We had wonderful breakfasts in our room each day. A delicious menu and very high quality produce. Really good value for money. The Old School House was a highlight of our NC500 trip and we would definitely like to visit again.

Beautiful view over the sea and the room was so clean and comfortable with the added benefit of having a huge bathroom and a lounge downstairs. Emma made us very welcome and the breakfast was delicious

Emma and Rob have created a very welcoming and well organised B&B. The room was great, we stayed in the one with the separate bathroom, but it's really no issue at all as it's just across the hall. It all feels very private. The breakfast was fantastic and a really extensive selection (catering to all dietary requirements). The view was lovely from the room and it was very cosy and warm. Excellent all round!

The breakfast was of excellent quality and plentiful. I was unsure about eating in the room but actually it was quite a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Our host Emma was most welcoming and very helpful.

We loved our spacious, comfortable room (the double one) with its beautiful sea view. It was such a nice space to be in that we didn’t want to leave. The downstairs guest living room is also lovely. Emma, the host, was very kind and attentive without ever being intrusive. She even offered to wash some clothes for us.

Lovely location in Gairloch, only a five minute drive from the pier for excursions. Emma was a great host with lots of breakfast options, with a lovely modern and clean room overlooking the bay. Living room was nice spot to hang out in the evening, and a few options for dinner within walking distance too. Would come again!

The breakfast in bed was a lovely treat. The room was perfect and had a great view. Emma was very friendly and welcoming. There was even a shared living room where they left out whiskey for a wee nightcap.

Only thing which I could mention is that we stayed in Room 2 - the double room, the toilet/shower room is not ensuite, its located directly opposite the bedroom, it takes a wee bit to get used to, the toilet/shower is immaculate and it is designated only for Room 2 guests so it is fairly private, just not as private as ensuite - thats all I could mention, however we still loved the accomodation.

Liked everything, the entire set up is of top quality, their is no scrimping or scraping with anything. Breakfast was enormous and excellently cooked. You just know your in a top quality establishment.

From the heady scent of fresh lilies in the entryway, to all the artwork on the walls to the matching copper coat hangers and wall sconces, every bit of our stay was a delight to all our senses. If that weren't enough, our host-cooked breakfast was equally enchanting. One of our top guest house experiences ever.

Extraordinary B&B! Modern room with lots of space, clean. Our room had a great view towards the bay :) the house has a very nice garden. Emma offers a great in-room breakfast, in which every detail is perfect as well. When we do get back to Gairloch area, Emma and The Old School House B&B will be our place to stay.
