A very small issue - one of the bed pillows on the sofa bed was too hard and wasn’t surplus to be able to swap.

The property was absolutely spotless. Had everything we needed for our stay and was a great space for the 4 of us. Highly recommend.

Check out time is 10:00am, could have been slightly later, say 11:00am which would give people more time to enjoy the apartment and especially as we'd been to a wedding the night before we would have preferred a longer lie in and time to relax getting ready in the morning, especially as it was a Sunday. The cleaner was there by 10:01am before we'd even got off the driveway so felt a bit like we were rushed out.

The apartment was lovely and very spacious, perfect for a couple. It was in an amazing location, right next door to the memorial hall which we were at for a wedding, so only took less than a minute to walk home. We were only staying for the night but wish we could've stayed longer as it was so lovely! The hosts have thought of everything you could need.

Not a 'dislike' but a 'better if' : The property is self catering but maybe having tea/coffee facilities could be a nice touch after a long journey.

The Old Coach House is a beautiful property, great amenities, tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean and comfortable. The host was particularly helpful by allowing us to change just before the check-in time.

There was no hot water available, showering was therefore an issue. It was very noisy sleeping on the sofa bed with the window open, a lot of traffic going by outside well into the small hours. The stairs are very steep and no way to block them at the top, I'd advise anyone traveling with children to bring a stairgate as it was a worry.

Great location, we stayed here for a wedding at the Abbey only a few steps away. Bed was very comfy in the bedroom. Apartment well furnished

The only one thing was that the bathroom is en-suite with the bedroom so anyone staying on the sofa bed had to come a small way in to the bedroom to use the bathroom. It is difficult to see how the space could be divided up in any other way though. Perhaps a free-standing screen could be used just to give some privacy? Perhaps it could be clearer on the site that this is a 1st floor accommodation and is accessed by stairs so not suitable if you are unable to go upstairs

Exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable. The 'kitchen' had what we needed. There was even a washing machine downstairs. The owners have made very good use of the space creating an airy and comfortable accommodation. Very much appreciated that the owner came to check that we had settled in OK and could find everything. Parking is easy on the drive at the side. Good facilities in the town.
