Very modern rooms, spotlessly clean, warm and friendly staff made us very welcome.

The draught Asahi beer was empty. But the cider was a good substitute.

The design , comfort and cleanliness of the room and the ensuite facilities. The generous goodies tray in the room- sloe gin, biscuits, brownies as well as tea and coffee. The provision of a coffee machine and generous supply of coffee capsules. We ate in the pub and had an excellent home made beef and mushroom pie with loads of gravy, and a stuffed pork belly with superb crackling, plus a generous supply of carbs. All washed down with draught cider. Served by very pleasant and friendly staff. The room and the meal came in at below £100. Unbelievable value for very comfortable accommodation and an excellent meal. The pub is located on the A5 and although the rooms are set back and screened there is some road noise. This will not deter me from visiting again and again.

Don't mistake the orange cordial for orange juice!

Superb room providing every conceivable comfort, the bathroom was spotless and like every other feature to a very high quality. The coffee machine was a great bonus. The rooms are situated to the side of the pub car park, so parking is very convenient. The pub was very pleasant, and has a comprehensive menu. If your feeling adventurous super sausage cafe is just along the A5 for a big breakfast. Everything was effortless. Would use again without hesitation. Was very quiet considering.

Beds are quite small 140cm I believe to be the double bed. I think 160-180 will still fit in the rooms and make the stay even more comfortable.

Breakfast wasnt available during the week, only at weekends which was a bit disappointing

It was so convenient to two good shopping areas but still felt like you were in the heart of the country. The rooms were spacious and modern and the bathroom was by far the best I have stayed in on this holiday I’ve stayed in 5 differenr hotels in the last the last 2 weeks and this was by far the best

A few minor snagging issues need addressing for this accommodation, which I have reported on the management feedback form. If these are addressed, then this place will deserve a 10 out of 10 rating.

Staff were amazing, food in restaurant excellent. Newly built, room looked nice and bed comfortable. 10 miles away from Silverstone and close to Towcester racecourse.

we couldn’t have breakfast because they had run out of certain things at about 11, our check out time. The coffee was so good though. For me personally the room was too light with the frosted window piece on the door., I just need a very dark room for a good nights sleep.

It was quiet, so clean and lovely. Location is great if you want something out of the city centre. Staff were so friendly, decor is beautiful I must say, whoever chose the colour scheme kudos to them. adage and adequate parking.

I don't like way of when I turn light off there was green light it difficult get me sleep. And there have one toilet roll for 3 nights it get empty I try find more. But I have to ask staff get more. Wifi is seem ok but it is keep freezing us bit. Shower is ok but I rather get bigger head.

I do love everything there was so comfortable and feel like my own time it is perfect. Car park perfect and food perfect. My partner grab massive spider lol but rest it is was fine

We only stayed here for one night, as we had to drop our rental car back to Bletchley the next morning. The Old Talbot was a welcome surprise. The rooms at the back of the hotel are at ground level, so no carry luggage upstairs, and the rooms look new and are superb. The food at the pub is first c;lass, and lucky for us they had a trivia night. The staff were great, and the atmosphere very good. Really glad we picked this one!!

There was a note saying ‘something sweet’ had been left but I didn’t find this and the water hadn’t been refilled but this was minor.

The property was immaculate and looked in impeccable condition. There was nothing I could fault about the property it was lovely and luxurious.

Probably more staff needed as room not serviced as we would have preferred. Also, breakfast is not served in the normal way Mon to Fri, but guests can have a ‘breakfast bag’ in their room if desired. Said breakfast bags for us were a bit hit and miss, possibly because of staff shortage.
