Shower stall was a little cramped.

Lovely welcome after a long day on the road. Very relaxed atmosphere and comfortable quiet room. Breakfast was top notch. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Within easy walking distance to the local pub that serves good quality pub grub.

Hosts Michael and Diane were very friendly and could not do enough for us, location was excellent and the house was lovely, clean and warm and pricing was very good too. I would definitely stay again and recommend it.

I had a lovely one-night stay at The Old Vicarage on my way to Pembrokeshire. Excellent communication from Diane & Mike prior to my stay including making a booking for dinner at the village pub for me. Room was very comfortable with an amazing cooked breakfast included.

Lovely room, quiet location, excellent breakfast. The hosts were fine about us arriving just after 9pm, as we were having a meal with friends in Llanidloes first.

There was nothing I did not like. Guest house does not offer supper, but the local pub walking distance provides smple suppers and lamb shank on the menu some days. There was nothing I could complain about.

Every aspect of this guest house is exceptional. Excellent breakfasts included (locally produced ingredients and dietary concerns accommodated and generous portions too). Very considerate hosts. I shall be returning. A real gem in mid Wales. A joy.

After much thought we can't find a single thing that we didn't like.

Diane and Mike are fantastic hosts. We were greeted on arrival with hot drinks and cake, had a little sit in the lounge then were shown to our rooms. The room is warm and clean with a lovely view. There is a hairdryer and tea making facilities in the room as well as towels and amenities. An iron is available upon request. We have never stayed at a B&B before and really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious, with a good selection on the menu, including yogurt, fruit and a full Welsh. Diane and Mike have good local knowledge and can recommend day trips and provide a packed lunch on request for a small fee. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Bathroom in our twin room was a bit cramped with a small shower cubicle but everything worked and water was lovely and hot.

Lovely old house in very quiet rural location with great hosts. Super comfy beds, crisp linen and a really cosy room. Breakfast was excellent and I enjoyed a full English and fresh ground coffee!

Very welcoming hosts. Went ‘above and beyond’ … drying out our wet biking gear. We were able to charge our bikes in the garage … where they were very secure overnight.
