Fabulous place to stay. Thoroughly loved it and would happily return. It's got a lovely scandi feel with wide open space and a whole garden to mooch around in or sit an enjoy the lovely view. The village is incredibly quiet with the local pub on the doorstep. We had a downstairs room which had a seating area on a decking outside and allowed us to let the dogs out for a wander where they were safely enclosed. Morning breakfast was great, wish I could've eaten more. Magdalena was very attentive and responsive to questions or chat, especially before we even arrived which took away any worry about where we were going or what to expect. I would definitely come back here. Couldn't recommend it more

The room was beautiful and bed very comfy. Views out over the fields from the garden were gorgeous. We were in room 2, which had use of a separate hut kitchenette. This was great as we could eat breakfast and dinner with our dog and not disturb the other guests. Magdalena was an amazing host! A great base for hay on wye, Whitney on wye and the brecon beacons!

    Having to leave.

Just returned from a 1 night stay. Magdalena was a delight. She messaged us with information on the day and even offered to do a 20 minute round trip to buy mushrooms for breakfast. The room was spacious and stunning. The bathroom and main room immaculate. The bed was huge and so comfortable, I slept through the night for once. We had a balcony overlooking the countryside which was private and sheltered and a lovely spot for a drink after a long drive. Check in was easy and there is ample parking. The pub next door is a real treat, incredibly friendly lady in charge with great food at very reasonable prices. Magdalena cooked us a sumptuous breakfast in the breakfast room/kitchen and it was lovely to chat without feeling pressured. We felt as though we could have chatted all day. Check out is 11am but Magdalena said no rush. All in all, one of the nicest, most relaxing, peaceful and value for money stays we have had. A pure delight. Thank you Magdalena x

Our room didn't have the best view, and footsteps from room above were a little annoying but this can't really be helped as we booked last minute.

Breakfast was lovely, made to order as we sat down, very cosy.

Magdalene was an excellent host, very friendly and helpful and had a wonderful personal touch. The wooden cabins were outstanding- built by master craftsmen in European spruce, they were beautiful, functional, warm and fragrant. The small village is off the beaten track and is quiet and quaint with great walking trails on your doorstep. The rooms are located right next to the Pandy Inn which has a lovely pub and serves good food. This was one of the best stays we experienced during our tour of the UK!

    Nothing at all.

Location was very quiet, room was spotless and comfortable and warm . Pub next door served great beer and food. Magdalena contacted us in the morning to confirm arrangements for access and was there when we arrived. Breakfast was cooked fresh by her as we passed the time of day which was a nice touch. A very good host and would definitely return.

Lovely chalet-style rooms next to the pub. Very comfortable, warm and quiet with good shower rooms. Delicious breakfast. Very handy for eating out in the pub. Very close to the bus stop too to get to Hay-on-Wye (15 min) or Hereford (60 min). Good walking from there too.

Was upgraded to a beautiful room with a fab view, at no extra cost, due to a cancellation. Fab pub across the way too and only 15 mins drive from Hay on Wye. Beautiful B&B room with bathroom. Very comfortable bed and lovely decor. Nice and quiet in peaceful surroundings, with ducks and chickens pottering around. Magdalena makes an amazing full English breakfast too! Thanks for our stay Magda, we will definately be returning for sure!

Couldn't fault the place, it has a nice breakfast hut.If needed there was a separate hut to make food for children or babies.

The Accomodation was excellent, very clean and comfortable, Breakfast was brilliant. The host was very friendly, and nothing was too much. We can fully recommend this as a place to stay in the Golden Valley. The view from our room was amazing. Situated behind the Pandy Pub, it is close to their restaurant.
