Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe location is at the end of a very bumpy & uneven track/lane, in a small village with very few amenities. We were happy to drive approx 30 mins to visit Padstow one day & Newquay the other. But we’d have liked to be able to go out for dinner one evening, without driving a few miles on such narrow, winding, bumpy roads.
The hosts had thought of everything to welcome us & make our stay a home from home. Beautifully furnished, bright, spacious property with stunning garden, bbq area & views. Very peaceful. Couldn’t have asked for anything more!

United KingdomNot really anything much negative to say to be honest, only very minor things - bathroom sink was a little small and low, so awkward to shave and wash face. A little limited on space in the kitchen and some of the items. A microwave and one more saucepan would have made things easier, especially when trying to cook a full English breakfast.
We had a wonderful, relaxing time at The Parlour. The accommodation was really nice and had everything you needed, including a coffee machine, Sky Tv and underfloor heating. The BBQ area was brilliant, even though the weather wasn't but could cook under shelter. Had a lovely, secure garden for our two dogs to run around in.

This is the most perfect stay location you could wish for. Set in a quiet area outside of a charming Cornish Village. It is within a short drive of both coastal and inland tourist attractions, we were spoilt for choice. The Parlour is luxurious and well appointed with a comfortable bed, sitting area, excellent compact kitchen and access to a beautiful and secluded garden. The large TV with SKY was a treat. There was a BBQ area with outside kitchen which the hosts make available for guests. It overlooks open fields and the village beyond. The property is ideal for couples etc. seeking a quiet luxurious vacancy, away from the crowded resorts and in a beautiful countryside location with many public footpaths so ideal for dog walking. The owners and hosts provide everything you should need for a short stay and longer. We found on our arrival fresh milk eggs and bread. The coffee maker also had a posh frother (hope spelt right). The owners live on site and are so friendly, approachable and informative. This really is the perfect stay and we hope to return in the future. Thank you.

United KingdomNo issues with the property - loved it. The food at the St Mabyn Inn wasn't great - how can anyone get deep fried food so wrong!!! But I understand there have been some issues with getting a good chef. Great pub otherwise.
The location was ideal for us and our dog. Great to have a secure garden and walks from the doorstep. We found it really relaxing and totally enjoyed our time there. We're looking forward to coming back.
