Finding Factory lane was a bit tricky...but this was own fault. Found it after driving around in circles

A great welcome from a friendly and very helpful Glaswegian - Jim. A great wee friendly Inn...great excitement that night with the boxing on

The noise and disturbance from other guests arriving about 330 in the morning, waking me up. Making it difficult to return to sleep

No hairdryer in room. No shower toiletries. Not essential but would have been a nice touch. The way out was uneven stumbled on uneven paved surfaces in the garden area. To be fair the accommodation is new and the outside area isn’t finished yet.

Very clean and comfortable. Separate entrance to pub for coming and going. The pub looked good, didn’t have the time to use it. However we will visit the pub again.

Bit of a dodgy area , the door at the top of the fire escape that had a notice stating should always be closed, was always open when I returned in the late afternoon and evening , leaving the internal rooms vulnerable as they only had Yale locks.

Very noisy. I have stayed here when it has been noisy previously, but only to 12ish, which is fair enough on a Saturday night. 5am isn't reasonable though - this is probably down to guests rather than the hotel management, but it doesn't encourage a return visit.

In hindsight I should have listened to the warning that they have karaoke until late on the Saturday. Had a great sleep Friday night but Saturday night was awake until 3am listening to drunken customers fight.

It was a convenient location and facilities were clean.

The floor boards above our room (8) creaked terribly if anyone moved in the room above.

Very handy for central Loughborough. The rooms was at the back of the pub so the Saturday night live entertainment did not bother us.

mattress on bed was very firm, too firm for both myself and my partner, whether all the beds in the rooms are like this you'd have to ask.

location was excellent for out dining trip on Great Central Railway, about 7 or 8 mins walk away. Room was basic, but clean and tidy. The pub next door runs karaoke on Saturday nights, probably best not staying if it's going to bother you, they do say this on their description

The noise. I think those that run it must live upstairs and from 10.30 when we tried to go to sleep the creaking and stomping from the floorboards upstairs was very loud. Also a male voice could be clearly heard till after 1am. It’s obviously not intentional but they need to realise people are trying to sleep below them

The property was very clean with everything you need. I needed to iron my clothes and was given an iron and ironing board without any issues. Staff were very welcoming

The beds are basic sprung but fine for a night or two. I'm not sure if there is any catering options but I didn't actually check. There is no iron available at the property.

We stayed at the Peacock Inn as we had a funeral the next day. The room was really clean and staff were welcoming. There was a price error with the booking and the staff noticed before we did, making sure that they directly transferred the money back to us within the hour. For a clean room with friendly honest staff, I would consider it value for money.
