I had one problem where my booking was cancelled and didn’t know until I arrived and had to book another property, wifi can be a bit of a problem but the team gave me the staff WiFi and all was fine.

Its excellent for the price, I stay here quite a lot and it’s always a nice stay, I stay here often and my mum is an hospice close by and I can also work close by too. Always clean, I like the beds pillows and the sheets are cotton. Love the ambient lighting.

I think the usual reception rooms that you would normally have in a hotel have been taken over by a restaurant. I would have liked to have known this.

There was no english food for tea, their premises has Moroccan and Turkish food which we wont eat. Luckily we had pastries and some sandwiches we brought in. No option for chocolate hot drink…just tea or coffee. Shower head in room 101 was poor and must be blocked, and the shower tray filled with water.

We were upgraded free of charge in order to have two rooms together and so my elderley mum in law didnt have to climb stairs. Also we enjoyed the breakfast in bed which was a nice surprise arrangement, as they have no breakfast room. The car park was easy access to the hotel, and the car was on the front. I was able to get a jug of fresh milk and extra tea bags from reception, as we only had minimal in the room.

No lift would obviously be a problem for older or physically challenged patrons, especially for top floor rooms. Included extras in the advertising proved to be confusing as there is an additional charge for late check-out, although not stated. The staff member did however waive the charge, due to the obvious ambiguity- an example of the excellent service provided by the hotel.

Spacious rooms ( bathroom was massive- for the UK! ) Breakfast brought to your room and helpful staff, together with ample parking and right in the centre of town. The tariff was great for what you actually get, compared with other establishments.

Only negative was no breakfast room so if you're someone who likes a full English breakfast in the morning, this was not available.However, for us we were happy with the selection on the breakfast menu and there was scrambled eggs, omelette and baked beans available.

Lovely hotel within 10 minutes walk to the city centre. Comfortable, quiet room so we slept well. Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Despite limited choice of breakfast it was good quality, enjoyable food. Next time we visit Peterborough, we will book at this hotel again.

Would have liked a bath tbh but the shower was nice

It’s quite a cute hotel - however our room seemed to be in the attic - quite a small double which was quite claustrophobic. I asked for another room which was on the ground floor and bigger for only £20 more. The bed was very comfortable- nice and big and the tv was a good size.

Room spacious but curtains grubby, stains on love seat......a table and chairs would have been handy to eat our breakfast.

I was in an attic room so banged my head a few times. There was also a step right next to the bed so the first thing I did upon waking up was trip over a graze my knee.
