We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Beautiful interesting building. Good quality finish that felt luxurious throughout. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was really comfortable and well thought out. Fridge in room so could have fresh milk and they supply decent sized mugs with good quality tea and coffee.

The Peppermill Town House Hotel was exceptional. It is very central and easy to find. The owners were on hand upon check-in and most polite, offering an early check-in (because of availability) and parking advice. The room was very quiet and the shower amazing. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and the service was excellent.

United KingdomThe chef in the restaurant - I ordered a steak and I ordered it well done, obviously the chef thought that his view on cooking steak was more important than my view on how I wanted to eat it and it came out at best medium if not rare.
The staff were amazing, hotel and room was great with no issues and was spotless.

United KingdomThe cooked breakfast was good but I was disappointed with the pre-breakfast selection as there was no fresh fruit or bakery items and one of the cereals had almost run out. When I was served with coffee as requested, I was just given one cup.
The location was perfect as I wanted to be central. The staff were all very pleasant. The building and internal lay out was very interesting, tasteful decoration and interesting private lounges

United KingdomThere is no car parking at the hotel. Parking is available close by in the town, but payment online through a local council app / website / text message is a bit fiddly - and I am pretty tech-savvy. Bathroom was very small.
Great central location. Nice room with comfortable bed. We only stayed one night so did not use the lounge area but this looked very nice. Breakfast was excellent, very tasty.
