As mentioned above all great except for not enough towels in room for two people And of course the stairs but we managed!

Location is perfect Room was all we wanted except for two people only one lot of towels available. We did get more towels on request but felt these should have been in the room already So grateful that bags were taken to our room on check in - thank you As breakfast was cooked to order arrived luvly and hot and plenty of it - thank you

Nothing the Pied Bull can do about this, but it was town centre and there were late night/early morning revellers, but that is to be expected, it’s the same in the Market Town where I live.

Location, right in middle of town, 24 hour car park a minute away, easy check in, lovely well appointed room, clean, everything you need for a weekend away was available. Would defiantly recommend and would come back

At breakfast there were several items we didn’t want on our breakfast and nor did we want tea or coffee. We ordered two cokes. We saved them money and waste on items but the cokes cost us almost £8.

    Oldy worldly

We have upgraded room, for bigger room, but the room wasn’t as big. Get very loud at night time, as the hotel is right next to pubs. Definitely needed ear plugs for comfortable sleep. Bed comfy, but again to small for 2 larger people.

Great location. Right in the city heart.

Room very noisy being on the road into the centre, maybe secondary glazing would help and it really needs to upgrade to better mattresses

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was lovely and hot. Although the hotel did mention with the room being at the front of the building there might be some some noise disturbance. The noises from outside went on till 4am and as the windows were not tightly sealed as sash windows it felt that the windows were open. In saying that the beds were very comfy and I would stay there again as a perfect central location. Overall good value for money.

At £156 per night (expensive for a pub) not even a biscuit in the bedroom and only enough milk for two drinks, and no choice of drinks eithe Nescafé or Tetley tea.

Breakfast was exceptional 👍Staff were all nice. Location was brilliant.

I have it a 7 only because of the noise factor. I started on a Thursday night, which is Trivia Night. They played very loud music in between questions. My room (3) was just at the top of the stairs and the noise level was very high. The good part was they stopped at 11 pm but I really needed to have quiet before that hour. Then, (no fault of the inn), the rubbish was collected just outside my window at 4:45 am and it was VERY loud!

Located right in the city center, next to The StoryHouse and a few steps from an entrance to the city walls. Lovely old inn, established in 1535! My room was comfortable and I loved the wallpaper! I had a nice, hot shower. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
