The Pier Hotel is in a great location. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the nautical themed furniture.

Nothing major. The shower water was at low pressure, which is a common issue in many establishments in my experience. But it was functional, and the issue outweighed by other overriding convenience and quality issues. Certainly, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Very clean & tidy, and comfortable. Very convenient location, close to local facilities, pubs, etc., particularly Bank Vault, which is a great craft beer bar/music venue. A great base for a short stay.

Easy walking distance of the station. Room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Perfectly located to see the town and beach front. Hosts were lovely and welcoming. Special mention for the efforts they went to when I left a necklace behind in my room. They made arrangements with me so I could get it back which meant a lot due to its sentimental value. Thank you!

Economy style room in the basement with very cold floor and only a frosted window. No fridge despite in the room description.

Great location. Seemless checkin. . Very clean in room and bathroom. Warm towels to compensate for the cold bathroom.

Cutlery would have been useful. As there are no restaurant facilities and they allow dogs I think lots of people will have takeaways. But having a fridge was brilliant

Stayed in this hotel previously, and would come again. The rooms and communal areas are very clean. Beds are comfortable. Basic facilities but fine for a short stay. Free parking was available in front of the old college building, just a short walk away. Hotel is in a good location just off the sea front and close to town.

It’s a little quirky and feels maybe a little old but that’s not a bad thing. Struggled with the electric shower a bit but again not the end of the world.

Really amazing location. Self check in was easy too.

Just one thing really,the second night we wére woken early hrs with alot of noise from other guests,had to say something,which helped.A one off prob and everything else was perfect but did it did disturb us.

This is the second time I have stayed at the pier hotel. The rooms are comfy and clean and I wouldnt hesitate in returning again.

Unfortunately, the walls are incredibly thin. We were woken up early hours by a group of people staying below us who have been singing, shouting and shrieking all night after being asked to quiet down from other people staying in the hotel. Because of the volume and the activity of the people staying below us our beds were actually rocking and the floor was vibrating. We are actually leaving Aberystwyth early because of this, which is a shame as the town is gorgeous and prior to this we’ve had a lovely time. This is NOT the fault of the hotel at all but I would recommend bringing earplugs or something to cancel out the noise if you are staying here.

The location of the property is absolutely brilliant, we’re very impressed with the value for what we paid. The hotel & rooms are spotless with the room being a really decent size. Checking in is very straight forward.

My only complaint would be the noisy bathroom extractor fan. But that would be just be being picky.

Couldn’t open the windows so let some fresh air in. However in hindsight I should have read the reveiws as we stayed on a Saturday night and had a very disturbed night due to the loud music and people shouting in the street coming from a nightclub very close by. This noise eventually stopped around 4 am. We would stay again but would make sure it was on a night when the club is not open

Convenient for what we needed. We were visiting the university for an open day for my daughter. We live in Surrey so about 250 miles away and we needed some cheap overnight Accomodation. Access was easy. The room and bathroom very clean and tidy. Restaurants and shops were nearby. Street parking very close by

The door closer on the bathroom was so powerful it was a fight to get in and out. The shower had fairly low pressure, unusual for mains water pressure. If it was tank-fed then drinking water needs supplying. It may just have been a water conservation measure. Not much sound insulation.

Good value. The home made lamps etc in the lobby are quite intriguing. Quite comfortable overall.

Large, spotlessly clean room, plenty of tea & coffee, hairdryer, two minutes walk from the seafront. Good communication, friendly staff and very reasonably priced

Very noisy between 11pm and 3am. Right opposite a takeaway and near the nightclub people on the streets shouting between those hours.

In a great position near all restaurants and bars. Comfy bed. Nice and clean.
