Lovely, friendly hosts at this B & B. Our room was much bigger then expected and the bed was huge! Great location, only 10 mins walk away from major attractions in Portsmouth. Delicious breakfast and homemade yoghurt was a real treat!! Would definitely stay here again.

I received a very warm welcome on my arrival and immediately felt comfortable at The Pier. It is conveniently situated for visits to Old Portsmouth and the Historic Dockyards. I would certainly recommend this lovely hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing few days in Portsmouth.

Hosts were extremely friendly and polite. We had a few problems with our car alarm and they couldn’t do enough to help us out. Food was lovely and fresh. Room was clean and comfortable.

Everything was spot on. There was nothing we didn’t like or could fault.

My husband and I stayed at Rahul and his mums accommodation and they couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. They made us feel really welcome and ensured we had everything we needed for a great weekend. We had a beautiful quiet, clean, warm room with very comfortable beds. The location is spot on for all the main attractions and the sea front.

Rahul and his mum were very welcoming and attentive. The large king size bed was glorious. Home made yoghurt in the morning with breakfast was delicious. Walking distance to port and station.

It was in a great position. Walking distance to the wharves and museums. Parking was provided, The hosts, Rahul and Parveen were absolutely lovely. Made us feel really at home. Were very warm and welcoming. Great breakfast!

It was a bit warm - needed a fan. Need to supply a large bottle of shower soap. Sachets don't work for two days.

A warm welcome was given to us by our generous hosts Our room was spacious & clean. Also the use of a sitting room was a great asset. Breakfast, beautifully cooked, was sumptuous. Parking, although on street, was accessible, convenient & supported by permit. Portsmouth.is an interesting city to visit & The Pier makes an excellent base.

Rahul and his mother are wonderful hosts. Breakfast cooked to order was great value. The location is very central, there is a bus stop out the front that can take you pretty well everywhere. Walking distance to plenty of pubs and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay so much, we stayed an extra night. Highly recommended.

Nothing to not like.

The hosts were welcoming, helpful, chatty and nothing was too much trouble. They made us tea on arrival and offered to carry our luggage up to our room. We were on the top floor. The room was well equipped for the few days stay we had. Breakfast was really lovely and a great price. It would have been silly to go elsewhere for breakfast. There was plenty of storage for clothing in the room. Extra blankets were provided if it was to get cold but also a fan of it was too warm. The location was perfect for exploring Portsmouth. 20min walk to the historic dockyard and the city center. A parking permit was provided so we could park outside, luckily there was a spot right outside the hotel so perfect but there is plenty of street parking locally.

The pier was very central to the main attractions and beach. Hotel was clean and had what you needed bed comfortable, lovely breakfast good value for money.Rahul and his Mum were excellent host very informative and nothing too much trouble.
