The pigsty is perfect for an escape from city life. Everything provided in the pigsty was fabulous. It was so peaceful with gorgeous views. We loved our stay and can't wait to return again!

Nothing, loved it!

The photo’s do not do it justice. We had everything we needed. Fiona left a welcome basket with some beautiful bread, juice, milk, amazing eggs, butter and jam, also tea bags, sugar and coffee provided.

It is 5 miles from Crieff. So near that in mind. Better to have a car. As I discovered taxis were not easy to find. It’s a 2 hour walk so not easy.

The Pigsty was absolutely gorgeous, and Fiona had left some lovely little welcoming touches for our arrival making it even more special. The space itself is really roomy and designed well, the deck out the front is perfect for sitting out to eat or relax and look across the stunning scenery. We loved how remote it is, meaning full privacy. There was also some lovely walks/things to do in the surrounding area. We’ll definitely be back, thanks again!

I didn't like when I had to leave, that's about it.

Absolutely everything was perfect. I really cannot recommend this place enough. I've stayed in some of the most beautiful 5-star hotels and travelled very well, and this is a stand-out place for me. So private, has everything you need like your own home would have. The bed is so comfy, the bath was a treat, the sundeck was idyllic looking onto the most stunning views. The appliances were all high-end. No expense has been spared to create something really unique here, in fact, I felt it should have cost more than it did. The host is the sweetest lady. She left us croissants, muffins, milk, fresh orange, butter, eggs & jams. So we had a nice breakfast for day 1 already there for us when we woke up. We travelled 5/10mins to the local Co-op in and got meats in for the BBQ & on the second night, we made pizza in the oven with some pasta. It was just like a little home from home! It's not too far from Gleneagles, so went there for lunch in the day & enjoyed walks in the local villages and loved all the beautiful scenery, with horses and deer around. I can't wait to go back! Having just returned from a trip of a lifetime in Italy, this place exceeded all of my expectations and cured our holiday blues very well indeed. I won't be surprised to hear if this little diamond wins an award.

Nothing was disappointing. We had a short outage with WiFi (and we can really do without it, but this was for our work) and that was also quickly resolved. Perfect service!

If you like special locations, beautiful views, a cozy fire outside and a wonderful bed, this is the place for you! Everything was beautiful about this location and the welcome more than warm. We will definitely come back here again.

Had a wonderful stay at The Pigsty! Clean, comfortable and relaxing. A great location to enjoy peace and quiet while still being close to many popular sights. I took day trips to Blair Castle, Stirling Castle, and Fife. Fiona was a great host, and I loved the treats she provided on arrival :)

very cosy, spotlessly clean, very well appointed ie had everything required for a peaceful weekend away with the town of Crieff not far away with smashing restaurants and pubs to choose from.

The stay was perfect!

What a stunningly beautiful stay! The accommodation the area and the surroundings were all stunning. Fiona was an amazing host- with a welcome package and fresh produce for breakfast couldn't have asked for a better weekend away! She was at the other end of the phone whatever we needed! The pigsty itself was immaculate and super cosy- all the little touches like the BBQ, chiminea ,toiletries and board games were all very much appreciated. We can't wait to return and cannot recommend this place and the host highly enough!

Was so peaceful and views were amazing .the little extra touches for christmas were fantastic . Fiona was so kind .
