The breakfast was all ordered and served. served - so no waste. Dishes offered were adequate and quality very good. Dinner was also good quality with some unusual Portugese dishes Parking well organised and convenient Overall a relaxing atmosphere

Very friendly staff, a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Our room was small (standard double) but had everything we needed and was extremely clean. Great food, nice choice at breakfast, lovely pizza and an amazing afternoon tea. Nothing was too much trouble.

Minor niggles Soap container could not be reached while in the bath Dining tables too small for comfort Staff did not clear dirty plates before serving the next course Guests expected to carry their own luggage upstairs, no lift or porter. So not good for the elderly or disabled

This is very much a personal observation but although the menu was good we found it a little too fancy for our taste.

We found the staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was good; rooms were adequate and clean and the facilities offered made our stay very pleasant. In all there wasn't much to criticize and yes we would stay there again.

The weather could have been better , but ca'nt fault the hotel.

Location beautiful, overlooking the harbour. Car parking free. Staff very helpful and cheerful. Superb breakfast and we also enjoyed a lovely evenig meal. Definatley recommend and we will be booking again next year.

Location was great. Breakfast was fantastic and a good choice, Comfortable bed The staff were all very friendly and helpful Dogs were very welcome and the extra touches were superb. ( dog bed in the room, doggy sausages at Breakfast, dog towels and dog biscuits at reception)

Had to stop window from banging through first night but once we stopped that it was perfect.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bed and bedding was extremely comfortable. Room was clean and a wonderful temperature. Fantastic vegan options for breakfast and dinner. So good we ate there two nights in succession.

Lovely location, came before on our first honeymoon, even better this time on our second honeymoon. Food was excellent served by friendly staff, room was very clean and well equipped. To have a guest kitchen was a very pleasant surprise which was clean and well equipped. Good weather on the Sunday meant we were able to enjoy one of the many beautiful walks surrounding the hotel. We will definitely be back.

Nothing not to like!

Great location for exploring Exmoor. The staff were very good and the hotel was warm and comfortable. It was particularly helpful having a thermostat in the room allowing us to control the temperature effectively.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The hotel is in a beautiful spot. It is just opposite a little harbour which is quite delightful. The public rooms are nicely furnished & very comfortable. The staff are all, without exception, charming. We ate in the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious.

Beautiful location with ample parking available. The hotel is modern, looks recently decorated and our room was perfectly clean. Love the residents pantry which had proper milk and a fridge that guests could use as well as cake!! Breakfast was great and ingredients fresh. Dinner was lovely but perhaps a little pricey.
