Unfortunately we could not stay for breakfast as we had to be on the road by 8.45am and breakfast was 8.30am to 9.30am. However, we asked if some sausage sandwiches could be wrapped up for us to take with us. This was accommodated and whilst the sausages were being cooked we were able to enjoy a pot of tea. Perfect.

Unfortunately I had a restless night. Initially this was due to sound from above which did stop. In addition TV reception was poor.

breakfast excellent on friday,we had to leave before breakfast on saturday, but manager gave us two porridge pots and biscuits so we could have before we left.

The mattress wasn't very soft a bit hard but it's OK for some nights. Breakfast time in the restaurant was a very very strong smell of bleach it was a pain to eat like that but the breakfast was nice.

Beautiful location, friendly very helpful staff cosy pub with good food we had nice wine ,we are a family of 3 we got an excellent family suite with 2 rooms one with a double bed one with bunk bed ,heating was great tv,coffe,tea in the room.Very fresh clean rooms with a nice new bathroom with a nice size of bath.We loved it it was excellent, definitely recommend it to others we surely going back again.

Being able to alter heating.

In the centre of Princetown, recently been done up due to flooding a few years back. Room was well decorated with a lovely shower over a P shaped bath. Very warm, only problem I found was couldn’t alter heating- would have liked it warmer when we arrived and cooler in the morning! Room was in the front overlooking the main road, but very little traffic noise.

This was a very pleasant surprise when we arrived tired from the ferry journey. It was like the most comfortable little apartment. We had a separate room from our children and a separate bathroom. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds and bedding so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and all the staff were so friendly. The pub is beautiful and looked like it served lovely food.

Waiting times at dinner were simply too long and we got no information and also no apologies why our food took 90 minutes.

The family room had actually two rooms and was newly refurbished. The food was good and the staff friendly.

Just had an amazing weekend at The Prince of Wales In Princetown, we Couldn’t fault anything about our stay, lovely friendly welcome and staff, food amazing, room immaculate and fully equipped. Breakfast to die for. Will deffo be going back. Thanks again John and your wonderful staff and locals for making us feel so welcome xx

The mattress was unfortunately really uncomfortable. We were in room 1 and that’s the only thing that let our stay down. My husband and I could feel every spring/coil no matter how we were sleeping😬.

Beautiful B&B very efficient and staff were professional. Gorgeous ciabatta baguette for lunch and my husband enjoyed his meal too. Room and decor was lovely.
