We were satisfied with everything, thank you.

The staff were excellent, very nice and flexible. We had to leave very early and they prepared meal bags for us and I liked that they were also ecofriendly (reduced plastic used). We also liked the bed, one of the most comfortable we ever slept in while away from home. The room was also quite spacious. The communication was also great, we were notified ahead about the food serving time. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

Location terrific. We could have ate and drank well within 5 mins of room. Comfortable apartment with everything you'd need in the kitchen. Balcony for people watching and a roof terrace for early evening cheap supermarket wines. Friendly helpful owner, (Maria?) Recommended some eateries (try Casa Lola). Brilliant maid/cleaner.

We were impressed by the delightful room, beautifully furnished and with a very comfortable bed. We were greetedbin a most courteous manner. Everyone was polite and friendly and very willing to ensure that we were well cared for. Breakfast and all meals were excellent. The Punch Bowl is an excellent place to stay for visiting Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall Gardens.

For a place reputed to be haunted I was disappointed to have had no spooky encounters except with a full length mirror at the top of the stairs.

This was a pub which did comfortable accommodation and so was ideally suited to my needs! The evening meal was good value and impeccably served. Staff were friendly and gregarious. The chef was a real character! A good, hearty breakfast really set me up for the day. Pity I wasn't staying a bit longer.

The room was clean, fantastic pressure in the shower, tea/coffee making facility, complimentary bottle of water. Bar/restaurant was comfortable and welcoming, the food was very tasty and hot! I can't speak highly enough of the staff, they were all very helpful and friendly. All in all we had a wonderful stay, will definitely be back.

Room was at the front of the property which is on a main road, so some traffic noise which may not suit some people, did not worry me as I live on main road.

A lovely bar meal the evening of my stay. Room had everything I needed. Excellent breakfast, plenty of choice. Location ideal for the purpose of my stay. Staff welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Lovely family run pub with 2 rooms above. We arrived late Friday night and got a warm welcome as soon as we got there. we ate in the pub the 2 nights we were there and the meals were delicious, generous portions cooked to perfection. The room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and nice sheets. Loved the bottled water and nespresso machine in the room, the extra heater and fan there if needed. Everything you could think of was catered for. Breakfast was delicious with great continental and cooked options again everything you could think of was catered for and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent every member of staff was attentive friendly and polite noticing when drinks needed refilling etc. Lynn, Ray and Chris who run the pub are so lovely it felt more like staying with friends and they took it very well my partner went sleepwalking in the nude oops!! The pub itself is ideally located for exploring the lakes but itself is in a lovely spot, I saw a deer on the country road just next to the pub. Honestly I can’t praise this place highly enough and we cannot wait to return.

Location is close to M6, J36. Breakfast was wonderful! Dinner was great. Ample portions, but some dishes are available in smaller options. Room was well laid out with plenty of storage. Lots of local information for anyone wanting to explore the area.

WIFI reception in the room wasn't great.

Very friendly staff who bent over backwards to keep us happy - even going out to buy us a new kettle. Breakfast was superb - large portion and very tasty. Evening meals were the same - the lamb in particular was amazing.
