Hotel by name but not by function, this is a guesthouse. A very friendly owner, great location, easy parking, very clean, but very basic guesthouse. Bed was very comfortable, but there were no surfaces to put things on, there was a small table with tv & kettle on. Would have been better to have tv on wall, another bedside table, a hook on the door for coats & some hand wash rather than the tiny box soap would have made the stay more comfortable. Would stay again if in area.

The fire alarm at 6:20 in the morning. The shower that dribbled on me at either a freezing or scalding temperature. The pathetically small amount of shower gel in the sachet

The wooden wardrobe had that “old musty” smell about it. The door to the en suite did not shut easily it made a loud bang, so left it ajar as didn’t want to disturb other residents. During the 2 nights I stayed couldn’t get parked in the private car park it was always full, however parking in nearby side road wasn’t a problem.

Spotlessly clean room. Comfortable bed. Good quantity of Coffee, Tea and milk. Nice shower looked very new.

Our Room was quite small with not a lot of space but for 1 night stay in Olney the location was key factor. Toilet system quite noisy but not a significant issue

The hotel is less than a 10min walk to high st which was fantastic convenience. The bed was very comfy and we had a good nights sleep. We were able to park fine but it was quite a small car park so if full may have been an issue although there was other parking nearby.

Room located across an open courtyard from the entrance. Unmatched furniture, consisted of a bed, 2 small tables and a wooden wardrobe. A tv competed for space on one table with a kettle and very basic tea/coffee making facilities.

The hotel room was clean albeit plain without frills. Super King sized bed was very comfortable but made room cramped. Room was quiet even with window open.

I was in room 3. The Mira electric shower did not work. I have similar ones at home so it was not a lack of knowledge. TV is over 11 years old and a lot of channels come up "No signal". I could find no way to ventilate the room, very stuffy for the time of year.

Room and ensuite were clean, the bed was comfortable. For anyone wanting to be in Olney it is well located, and has free parking.

The lack of VAT receipt wasn't good because booking.com said it included VAT. That needs to be sorted. The rooms were a bit on the small side but overall decent.

The rooms were decent. The beds were very comfortable and I found it very quiet. The lady running It was also very nice. She went above and beyond supplying me with a plate and cutlery.

First it was overheated , than there was no heating at all. IThe small room isolated, ground floor, unattractive view! My first impression was OMG, it’s more a storage room. I found it depressing and checked out one day earlier as I have planned. For someone who want stay very anonymous, hiding, it’s the best place to stay overnight!

Great bed, super clean and tidy. It seemed everything was quite new.
