Parking at the NCP is expensive. Stopped serving food early in the evening.

There weren't enough sockets for the available appliances and so the kettle and lamp were precariously plugged into an extension lead hanging from one of the plugs. Could cause problems with the steam from the kettle and the cable from the TV. Also the kettle base kept flipping off the chest of drawers when the kettle was lifted off the base. Could do with some wall sockets perhaps? (Or a kettle with a longer lead.)

The location was great. Staff were super friendly.

We paid and booked in, were shown a perfectly adequate room, smallish but clean and containing everything needed. BUT then she asked had anyone mentioned THE DISCO, that it would stop dead on 11.30pm. We had come from a family funeral and were meeting family for a meal so thought we would take a chance (foolishly as it worked out). When we returned the noise made our teeth hurt. Be warned check before you pay.

The room was in need of a refurb but that said it was really clean and good value for money.

Location was great. Staff were really good and helpful. Great service. Room was clean comfortable and quiet.

Wi-Fi password did not work and it was super noisy because it is basically upstairs a bar and they were having karaoke night. It was not a massive issue for us but might be for someone who cannot sleep with noise, better getting some earbuds before.

Great location, there’s everything you need around and close to tourist attractions. The room was clean and tidy as well as bathroom. There wasn’t any hand soap but it was alright as we used the shower gels they gave. It was not too cold or hot which was great. The staff was kind and helpful.

It’s a pub so we were expecting some noise but it was karaoke night with the booth situated directly under the family room. It would have been appreciated if that information was given to us before hand as there’s no way we would have chosen this property on a Friday night. The music and questionable singing was incredibly loud and finished at 2330 so was finally quiet at midnight. The was also no kitchen facilities so they shouldn’t have the option to purchase breakfast on booking.com as we had planned around this. We were lucky that our 2 boys finally slept at midnight but it could have been worse. I’d advise the owners to inform customers if there’s a planned theme night on and what time they can expect it to finish just so they aren’t constantly waiting for it to finish. Oh and take off the breakfast option from booking.com.

Nice room in the centre of town, comfortable bed, ideal for a family but only on a day outside of the weekend.

No breakfast which we expected & assumed was part of the price. We were told the kitchen was closed when we asked about breakfast times. No.wardrobe or even hooks to hang our clothes, which we had to lay on the floor in front of the door. Also the room was far too warm & we couldn't really open the big window as we were on the ground floor on the main street for security reasons. It was also quite noisy.
