The hotel is a very small cozy hotel. It is located right next to the i360 tower and from there you can easily explore Brighton on foot. The hotel is in a typical English building and has a lot of charm. the staff is very friendly and the breakfast was very good, toast, cheese, ham, coffee or cocoa is available, as well as jam, fruit, yoghurt and cornflakes. It was enough for us and it tasted.

TV working from the beginning. Initial room on 4th floor, too difficult for disabled wife but reassigned for additional charge of £10.

The room was fine with excellent views through floor to ceiling windows. Room very comfortable but trouble with TV not working and needing two fixings to get it operating. Breakfast more than adequate with full range of breakfast cereals, fruit etc.

Noisy macerator in toilet, it went off randomly at times. Not great if you need a night visit to the toilet as wakes people.

We were on the 4th floor lot of stairs felt shattered when we got to our room also they a unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom couldnt be to bother to let reception know as to many stairs

Good breakfast selection, very clean and comfortable room and even though it was in the basement with no view, it was spotless and spacious. So close to the beach and town, great location. We ate dinner at Shelter Hall and walked along the seafront and back to bed within 10 minutes!

The hotel is conveniently located close to the harbour, restaurants, shops there is easy transport to connect to the rest of the town. The hotel is in a quiet area with secure parking.

It's a little tired looking, but the rooms are clean and comfortable.

The room and beds were nice and comfortable. The continental breakfast was ample and good quality.

The shower was weak, but it did the job. The tray leaks a little as well. Toilet flush uses a macerator which is fine once you get used to the noise but it did seem to go off at random times during the night - perhaps it needs some maintenance.

We have stayed here before. We had the same room as before which was great. Location is a short walk to the beach or a short walk to restaurants and some bars. Breakfast is continental - it's nice to stay somewhere and not have a cooked breakfast on the menu. People are very friendly, helpful and accommodating when we asked to leave our case on day of arrival and day of departure - it was no problem on both days - it was locked in their breakfast room on both occasions.

I know it was good value but the hotel does need a little touch up here and there paint falling off and marks on walls . Again , toilet issue as didn’t see this when making the booking , shared toilet !! I was ok but was travelling with my young daughter and she didn’t like sharing . Again like I said car parking issues but not fault of hotel

Location great !! Parking an issue as the nearest car park is very expensive!! Paid £33 for 26 hour parking stay , but seemed Brighton car parks are very expensive !! Not hotel car park I must add ! For a late booking made to see a friend run in the marathon at wknd it was great value with own shower and sink in room but shared toilet , not an issue for me but was with my young daughter and she found it difficult to use a shared toilet , but overall for the price I paid was great 👍 continental breakfast was good choice and made a nice change as didn’t really fancy a cooed bfast !! Will definitely be back for future visits but will change my choice of car park

We were on the 4th floor so it was a long climb with our suitcases.

The location was fantastic and very quiet despite being so close to the hustle and bustle. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great. The staff were very nice and helpful. Lots of tea and coffee and biccies in the rooms.

This place is excellent value for money. The room is basic, as advertised, but it was immaculately clean. It had a good tv, wifi, a shower and sink. I opted for the twin room with shared toilet. This was not an issue and the shared toilet was kept clean. The hosts were very accomodating and kind. The breakfast was continental but offered alot of options and the dining room was pleasant.
