Was happy with everything on our stay with you. I also stay at a Wetherspoon in Bridgend when l visit my grandson. No complaints at all

Quite a lot of noise from inside and outside the hotel/pub. Didn’t sleep the best. Also the wet room/disabled bathroom wasn’t very attractive for our night out.

Easy checking/out, great staff and the pub is as trustworthy as Wetherspoons are.

There was nothing we didn’t like but we only had some issues with the key cards not working right especially when we had finished our night out but it worked in the end after a bit of panicking haha

Everything was really good there was even no heating in the room but they put two small heaters in the room to warm it up which it did was that hot had to turn them off haha

A very busy pub, but the bar staff were very nice people but very much over worked. You can here doors shut and close and some street noise....but it is a pub, so go figure.

Easy to get to, great location and very comfy and well maintained rooms, infact spotless. Very clean, good TV, warm and plenty of tea and water. Cleaner was super kind.showers were nice and lighting perfect. Check in was straight forward as was checking out. The room had everything you need, really everything.

Staircase to Bedrooms very steep. Not a criticism, as I can see no way to remedy the problem.

Staff exceedingly helpful and cheerful, especially the Chambermaids. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Bar /Catering staff were amazing, the Service was effecient and effective, delivered with a smile. Being Partially disabled, I was given a First Floor Room, which was appreciated. Good Security.Had a fantastic weekend. Great, cheap food and fantastic friendly service. Everything was of a high quality.

The first gentleman we encountered at the bar for checkin, we felt was rude and dismissive. He advised us that checkin was at 2.00pm it was 1.40, and just walked off! Leaving us standing there stunned think OMG this could be a terrible mistake booking here. I think he should have said perhaps take a seat, order a drink anything but just walking off, really! Stairs to our room hellish, with all our heavy luggage. (perhaps i should mention we had been to london, paris and Edinburgh prior to our arrival in Doncaster) But the lovely lady who checked us in helped. So she saved the day.

Room was old world charm with beams. Shower amazing. Food and drinks reasonably priced and very good quality. Prompt delivery by cheerful staff. But be warned BIG breakfast is huge and medium or small would be more then suffice for us ladies. Also free refill of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. It was lovely to see local residents catching up for a coffee and a chat, also very happy to chat with us, all in all very welcoming. Oh security to each floor very good.

The plumbing had a issue with dripping and (crying) noise, which was a little disturbing. Reported to manager and she said she would sort it out, which is good

Comfy bed. Big shower. Quiet room away from pub noise (room 201) . Coffee, tea, sparkling water provided and hot chocolate sachets too.Staff member helpful and friendly, even took one of my cases up for me.

This is not fully hotels fault as such, but the bar was so busy that it was hard for me to first work out how/where to check in, but also to get someone's attention. People stood in front of the check-in/reception, etc. They could do with somehow clearing that area come 2pm

The shower was really good. Free bottles of water were a bonus along with tea and coffee. But I really appreciated water more I also forgot my shower gel and was glad to see it was provided The room was warm and bed comfortable Had private door too, so could easily get in and out without having to navigate the people in the bar. Be aware there are a lot of steps to your room, I was fine others may struggle.
