It was a long way outside Prestatyn to walk with a suitcase. The area near room was neglected.

The wonderful walking paths nearby. The staff could not have been more helpful and kind.

Have stayed here 4 nights now over 2 weeks. Excellent value for money on the accomadation used for business purpose. Great value evening meal and selection on menu. Freindly staff!

The mattresses were standard low cost domestic mattresses offering little or no support. I could feel all of the springs and had to use the second duvet to lie on as cushioning. The walls are very thin between rooms and noise from the other en-suite can be disturbing. The wall fittings in the en-suite (shelf and toilet roll holder) have been removed leaving holes. The WiFi doesn’t reach to the bedrooms which makes it difficult to do any work if you are staying on business. To be fair it does state that these are budget rooms and so this is reflected as above.

Location was good and the breakfast was very nice. Excellent value for an overnight or short stay and the parking was very ample. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room. The owners were very pleasant and welcoming.

There were a few problems with the internet connection, which is important for guests. Otherwise, everything was well provided.

Convenient location near Prestatyn with a good car park; Pleasant spacious room with desk and sitting area; Good shower room and ample provision for tea-&-coffee. The breakfast was excellent, served with real care and attention to detail by very friendly and welcoming staff. It was a most enjoyable few days and I look forward to returning in the future. Thank you.

Lovely traditional pub, no problem parking onsite. Had an evening meal whilst there and the food was very nice and great value for money. Staff nice and friendly. The rear of the pub has a large covered area with a tv and heaters and whilst there had the pleasure to meet the owner (sorry but I’m rubbish with remembering names) a very nice person he was. Weather was a cold and miserable but my room was nice & warm. A good size twin room with immediate access to an outside area. Room had a good size tv and tea and coffee tray. Really good value for money if you’re after a no frills stay, comfortable atmosphere, I will be booking again for a return stay when I’m next in the area.

Breakfast options were excellent. You could choose from a full English to a bowl of porridge. Proprieters' were more than happy to meet my needs. Made me welcome and it was friendly.

My window looked out onto a dark space that could have been a veranda. No view.

The lovely friendly staff and owners were very warm and kind. The location is great too. An old fashioned homely feel. Breakfast was superb. I will return.

Unfortunately the beds weren't very comfy as could feel the springs. The plug socket for the TV was not correctly fixed to the wall. Cobwebs etc behind the TV.
