Great accomodation not too far from the university we were visiting. Plenty of shops in the area for anything we needed. Didn't encounter any staff but didn't need to, we were sent instructions on how to access keys etc and all went well. Quiet stay and will definitely return if the price is right!

Fan in bathroom was a little loud but not really an issue. Room was great overall.

Was great as an affordable place to stay near Edinburgh city centre. Beds were comfortable (though very soft). Getting in was simple. Room was warm once we’d figured out how to turn heating up! Hot water machine was great and lots of tea etc provided. Room was accessible easily though we arrived late. We will likely be back.

Only thing was the shower, it’ll turn off after 5 minutes, the staff were quick to turn it back on but said they’ll only fix it after we left, stayed for 3 nights.

The room:I understand it's a single room,but there was no wardrobe,no heating just a radiotor,the bathroom was outside the room.I should have been told before.I had to go outside the room during the night.Single room means single bed and not huge space,but I had the feeling this was the place where you usually leave linen wich was,in factleft at the main entrance.I had to put a pillow and towel near the window because was too cold during the night

The only water source was the bathroom sink. While it would probably have been ok to drink from it, the sink was too small to fit our reusable bottles. So we had to resort to buying bottled water. It would also have been good if they supplied additiona rubbish bin liners. They did provide one quickly when requested.

The score I gave reflects our expectations, both based on the pictures as well as the other reviews. As such, we knew what we were very likely going to get with the accommodation. We had 2 rooms, 6 and 8. Room 6 was the smaller room, but it was still ok for the 4 people who stayed there. There wasn't much room apart from the beds, but we expected that. Room 8 was actually bigger than we expected, though not by much. It was on the lower floor, but we were able to open the window to get fresh air. Comments about how hot the rooms were and how difficult it was to manage the temperature were easily solved by speaking to the manager and trying out different settings. The manager was extremely responsive and provided us with all the information and amenities we required. The location was great with easy access to the city and restaurants.
