Great video directions to our room from Stewart. Lovely host, Charlotte at breakfast. Room was so comfortable with a lovely shower room. Breakfast was delicious, the mushroom was a meal in itself 😄

We arrived muddy and tired and were warmly welcomed by Betty and shown the room. The internet link enabled us to watch some favour. The meal was great and we were able to take advantage of the Wednesday reduction.

We had the twin room and found the mattresses very hard and uncomfortable. Woke up too hot and stuffy due to the wall heater, which we couldn't turn down

We did buy an evening meal. Service was very good, but the meal was disappointing.....both our meals were very overcooked. Large amount of breadcrumbs and batter concealing small over cooked portions of chicken and fish. It seemed expensive for what we received. We gave feedback to the waitress. This is such a shame as it is a lovely inn; we enjoyed our stay very much overall. We would stay there again, but eat elsewhere.

Super comfy room and bed. Very. clean. Lovely. products in bathroom.. Breakfast nicely cooked, presented and tasty. Landlord and staff very friendly and helpful.. We were made to feel very welcome. A nice touch of complementary drinks and biscuits in our room.. Fresh milk, tea, coffee. Lovely decor.

Food was great - ate there two nights and two mornings Staff was very friendly and helpful, great suggestions on how to tour Bath (use park-and-ride, and hop-on-hop-off bus) Plenty of free parking rooms are far enough away from the bar area that we were not disturbed by noise

A plug in the sink would have been useful but I appreciate guests steal them, for some reason, so understand they are often not in place. Everything else was absolutely first class

I was late arriving, due to poor driving condition, but one of the staff telephoned me, before arrival, to ask if I would like her to cook something when I got there. This is way above my expectations.

The food was excellent, evening meals and breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Itseemed evident that they were happy and enjoyed working there. The landlord, Stewart was a very friendly guy, and was very obliging. Nothing seemed too much trouble. All in all a very enjoyable 3days.

There was nothing we didn't like.

We had an amazing stay. Can't fault anything. Our room was perfect. We had direct access to the outside, which was amazing as we have two dogs. We did not get charged for the dogs at all! Lovely comfortable bed, kettle, tea and coffee, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries all provided. The pub/ restaurant was amazing too. Proper traditional pub with lovely menu. Not to mention the friendly and helpful staff. Loved every minute of it. Definitely will be back.

Only slight niggle was the periodic flashing of the two smoke detectors and the WiFi box in the bedroom throughout the night.

Hard to say..... I am used to sleeping with the windows open at night time, but was unable to do this because of secondary double glazing. But for those of you who love the room toasty at night time, this is the room for you! :)

Beautiful pub with lots of atmosphere. The ladies and gentlemen that worked there were exceedingly chatty and friendly, actually not one grumpy face. Beautiful inglenook fireplace with the fire lit every night. The menu had a lot of choices, the two evening meals we had were delicious. We chose the full English breakfast on the first day and it was a whopper and exceedingly tasty. All the food at the Ring 'O'Bells comes from locally produced food from the surrounding area. Dog friendly even for the evening meal sittings. Lastly, so many beers and local ciders on tap and great selection of wines.

Just needs a small fridge in the rooms for Milk.

Lovely Country pub, a great atmosphere, and really friendly helpful staff morning and night. Suprised by the complimentary Beer and Proseco in the room. Good dinner menu, and well cooked. Breakfast is spot on: best poached eggs in months.
