Shame no car parking even though car park at back still far to carry suitcases. Some staff very welcoming and went out of they way to help others didn’t

The kitchen fans were rather loud outside our bedroom window. It turned off around 10pm, however the other fans kept running all night outside our other window. It wasn’t horrendous but we weren’t able to open the windows on a hot night. (Room 1)

Great breakfast. We had a lovely large comfortable room, it had everything we needed ie mini bar, iron, tea and coffee. We were really pleased with the location as we could easily walk to all the bars and restaurants in the village.

CLEANESS COULD BE BETTER TO THE BAR AND EXTERAL AERAS WHICH NEEDED HOSING DOWN.THE BREAKFAST SERVICE SLOW HAD TO WAIT 25MINS ON ONE OCASSION,NOT ENOUGH FISH CHOICES ON MENU.

NOT TO MANY DOGS, FRIENDLY STAFF, EXCELLENT LOCATION.

The accommodation was first class with total refurbishment within the last six months and well appointed rooms with excellent facilities. The staff were courteous and engaging without being at all intrusive and gave useful visit tips when requested. The freshly prepared food was of high quality, using local ingredients and was value for money. Breakfast was served quietly, with plenty of choice, and wonderful views overlooking the sea.

We had an excellent stay . We were there three years ago and the renovations are exceptional. Our room was sumptuous, every detail from ornaments to furniture and the bed so comfortable . Breakfast was delicious, cooked to perfection and hot . Nothing too much trouble. Absolutely loved it and will go back !

Great location on the seafront. Wonderful spacious room with lounging area. Nice finishing touches and attention to detail. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good restaurant. All in all a really enjoyable experience and would certainly recommend.

Unbelievable value for Money. Amazing location, stunning room and lovely personal touches. So comfortable we didn’t want to leave. The food and bar is also fantastic with welcoming and lovely staff. Also so accommodating for our pup Luna. If I could give this place a rating above 10/10 I would. Look forward to returning soon. Jade and Tim

That kitchen fan noise!

The room was large and comfortable, meals were good and service good also. We did have the extractor fan from the kitchen making quite a noise up until about 9pm which wasn't so nice. We were in room No1. The location of the pub was good for parking and the quay and beaches etc.

Location was amazing, no parking but a cheap 24 hours carpark next to the hotel for £7 the rooms and the hotel was incredibly well furnished with lots of excellent details in the room like maps, postcards, dry robes to borrow, bags to borrow, great mini bar and snacks with sofa and chairs in the room it felt more like an apartment than a room it was amazing and relaxing brilliant breakfast as well

Overall we enjoyed our stay, and would return. However, our bedroom, as lovely as it was, sat directly above the kitchen - which disturbed us due to an extremely noisy extraction fan during breakfast and evening meals. You could also clearly hear noise associated with food preparation. The hotel were accommodating in that we were able to change rooms, but a bit of a nuisance as we were only staying a couple of nights. We realise at the time of our stay there was significant construction work being undertaken on site - which is unavoidable. However, it might have been more appropriate for the large gathering of construction site workers eating en masse to be served their breakfast, say, 30mins after the official end of breakfast service for paying guests.

The room was extremely comfortable with brand new cotton sheets on an enormous bed! I appreciated the low level light in the bathroom which came on when one entered the room. The breakfast menu was superb with a great deal of unusual variety of choices. The location so close to the bay was spectacular.
