Gorgeous setting. Really relaxing, set next to stream, owners were lovely. Pretty little village, locals all very friendly and welcoming. Our pug loved it too.

I can totally understand the no smoking rule inside the accommodation but disappointed that even outside on the decked bar area, there was also no smoking allowed.

The welcome food pack was wonderful, so much thought went into the requirements. The apartment is beautifully decorated with books and postcards around.

The property was exceptional. Beautiful location and the personal touches were amazing. Even the dog was looked after with a bed and treats etc. they thought of everything.

River view studio was absolutely stunning, the attention to detail in the decor and the little personal touches were something else, Mychael was there to greet us and immediately made us feel more than welcome.The studio has a peaceful and positive vibe and the sounds and sights outdoors are just beautiful. Breakfast items and Prosecco were a lovely touch, thank you. We would definitely recommend a stay here and would love to return to this little place of pure bliss.

We booked the old post office as a base to do some hiking and Hadrians Wall was on our radar. This property was only 2 miles away and there was a nice pub just metres away. Idyllic by the river and so quiet.

The inside of the River View Studio was clean and had a cosy feel with quirky design features. The surrounding area was beautiful with good dog walks nearby. Communication and attention to detail by owners was excellent. We really enjoyed our visit.

Very doggy friendly. Own outdoor bar overlooking river. Dietary requirements met (above) Beautiful location. Everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Eco friendly. Attention to detail. Vindolanda, Hadrian's Wall and Sycamore Gap a very short drive away. Lots of walks and exploring to do locally (short drives). 2 min walk to train station. A lovely, bespoke place.

Absolutely nothing can’t wait to return

Beautiful and idyllic, quiet lovely area sound of the stream was very relaxing. Cottage is very very clean, quirky and loads of personal touches all throughout.

Just that we weren't staying longer!

This is a wonderful and quaint studio in a beautiful setting, with the sound of the burn and birdsong in the background. The breakfast and extras were very good and there are numerous touches that make this place unique and very special. It was fab in June but I think it would be amazing to stay in winter and get cosy by the fire. Bed lovely and comfy. Very accommodating hosts. Loved it all.

The attentionto detail and the personalisation was fantastic. Everything was well thought through from a guest's perspective which made the stay really enjoyable. The location was calm and quiet and very relaxing. The ambience was great and all items of use were ethically sourced and environmentally friendly. One of the best self catering places we have stayed. Definitely recommended.

It was wonderful and there was nothing we didn't like apart from having to leave at the end!

The location of the studio looking on the river was very peaceful and perfect for local walks both directly from the studio and around Hadrian's wall itself; or for just sitting on the balcony and watching the local wildlife and birds with a cup of tea or something stronger! The studio itself was just fabulous with lovely decoration and so many personal touches and additional attention to detail throughout. Mychael and Lisa were excellent hosts, and provided us with a great welcome, breakfast each day and anything else we needed. Bardon Mill village was very friendly with a well stocked shop/cafe and pub; and we enjoyed exploring the pottery.
