The only thing was how hot the room was.

Fabulous location, just down the road from the beach and a short walk to the harbour. Food was fabulous, so much so we ate twice in the evening. Room was small but just what we needed. Dog friendly too which is a huge bonus!

The room was really dusty and not the cleanest (surfaces were clean, the carpets and corners hadn't been touched in a while) but it was acceptable. There were also a lot of spiders for some reason and they seemed to crawl into a hole in and out from the corner of the room by the window

The staff were the nicest and really helpful, the location was excellent and nice to explore somewhere smaller and different with easy access to the train the get to Edinburgh., The breakfast was delicious, and the bathroom was spotless and modern. Whatever the shortbread is that is in the room is also great!

That there is no lift, as there are a lot of stairs.

The location, the friendliest people especially as we had taken our young dog with us. The food was lovely too.

Several sets of stairs to our room. But being an older building this is to be expected!

Breakfast was pre-ordered the evening before. Staff attentive and friendly. Sadly we couldn’t have dinner at the hotel as restaurant was closed for the 2 nights we were there( we knew this prior to our arrival) staff helpfully gave us alternative options in Dunbar. I accidentally left a jacket in the wardrobe, staff offered to send this on, but I requested they kept this for me to collect a week later as we were driving past.

Being on the top floor the water pressure wasn't the best in the shower, and the water pump for the bath was very noisy.

We enjoyed a lovely two night break at the Dunmuir Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant and the choice at breakfast was varied and freshly cooked.

Personally I an not keen on ordering breakfast the night before as you don't know how you will feel in morning. Also would have preferred fatter pillows and bath sheets instead of towels.

Staff very friendly. Lovely public areas. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, food was great, had a good selection of wines. Easy walk into town or onto the beach.

A little more care could have been taken over the cleaning & a fresh coffee cup each day would have been appreciated. The bath was quite deep & difficult to get out of even after a shower as there was nothing to hold on to. Shower curtains are a big no - no!

The bed was very comfortable & the room was quiet. Plenty of storage space & plenty of plug/usb sockets.

The restaurant doesn't open on Wednesday and Thursday. Breakfast not included for £115 per night, quite unusual in my experience.

The room was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable. Plenty of sockets, full length mirror, iron, ironing board and hairdryer supplied. The staff were very helpful and approachable.

Incredible staff, well cared-for and updated rooms, and the food was the best I’ve had in months! I would travel back to Scotland *just* to stay at Dunmuir hotel again.

The shower was electric. It wasn’t that hot. It was warm enough but I like a hotter shower with more pressure. It was a shame the restaurant was closed when we we’re staying. I spoke to a local and they said it was great. We’ll have to go back sometime to try it.

The hotel was lovely. Our bed was so comfortable and our room was spacious. The Scottish breakfast was delicious. It’s a short walk into town.
