It was a long trek from the overflow car park to our room. Trundling baggage through the public areas of the hotel was vaguely uncomfortable and definitely inconvenient. This negativity could have been avoided had it been permitted to use the external fire escape stairway which would have given convenient access to our room. I don't know why that is made off-limits.

The breakfast offering was exceptional with a cold buffet in addition to a choice of cooked breakfasts. The staff were all very pleasant to deal with, attentive and professional. All contributed to a positive impression of the hotel.

Great position for an overnight stop before catching the ferry. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were fantastic. Really friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was brilliant and a great view from the restaurant.

Our pre dinner drinks were taken in the bar of the hotel. Although we did not feel inconvenienced, we had to walk outside a short distance to access the bar. There is an adjoining inside route which is used by staff and we were helped to use this on our way back to the dining room.. The benefit to walking outside was getting an opportunity to enjoy the amazing view up the loch on a beautiful spring evening. On a wet night we might have felt differently.

We had a lovely stay at the Hotel. Recently refurbished it was fresh, clean, nicely furnished and very comfortable. The toilet and showering facilities were immaculate and worked. We had everything we needed for our overnight stay which included breakfast. We had dinner in the dining room too and were very impressed with the level of service and well satisfied with the quality of food which we rated as good value for money. The welcome we received on arrival was excellent and on departure we were thanked for our custom. We would have no hesitation to visit again and would recommend the hotel and its staff to anyone looking for a highland welcome and relaxed stay in Ullapool.

We couldn't find a microwave in the hotel suitable to sterilise baby utensils but we worked it out

The staff were excellent. James on front desk was first class in accommodating us with a small baby in tow. He completely went the extra yards to ensure our stay was outstanding. And Cameron was also very helpful in helping us settle in

The bathroom was compact, though functional. Water pressure was excellent.

Location was a great spot on the edge of town, close walking distance from the harbour, restaurant, and shops. Close to the petrol station, though very quiet at night. Lots of campers and some great breakfast spots within walking distance.

We broke down in the carpark and the staff were amazing to accommodate us, they sorted out and extractor night stay. Because we arrived late due to the breakdown we arrived late and they kept the kitchen open for us later. The food was also brilliant!! The staff did Everything they could to accommodate us and help us. They were amazing. The inside was very clean and a nice place to be, it has been recently renovated. Ullapool was a nice town to explore and has lovely views.

Great location to Ullapool. Very clean and friendly hotel. James on reception was particularly helpful and gave advise on where we might see a football match. Breakfast was very good also.
