You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomA little far out from centre of town for less able walkers but there are plenty of benches placed at regular intervals to rest on all the way down the sea front. In fairness, if you're not up to the walk or the weather is bad, taxis and trams are plentiful and are reasonably priced.
Excellent hosts, friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the area. Great breakfasts and really comfortable beds. Had a great weekend. Will go back there.

United KingdomClean comfortable with a great location so quiet giving you a great sleep breakfast was fantastic Mark and Vanessa were great hosts welcoming you into their lovely guesthouse. Parking was good street parking available but failing that massive car park at end of road where there was also a tram stop to take you everywhere,lovely pub at end of road that did good food . To sum it up if you looking for a beautiful guest house away from the madness but only a few tram stops away from every attraction with easy parking and welcoming host then don’t hesitate to book the Sandalwood thank you again for a lovely stay

The property is lovely. clean, pretty, very comfortable with all the facilities you could need. Hosts Mark and Vanessa are warm, welcoming, friendly individuals who run the hotel brilliantly. Breakfast is excellent, beautifully presented and served in the pretty breakfast room. Transport links are easy with the Promenade and tram stop a few steps away. parking is easy on adjacent streets.

The breakfast was excellent, Markand Vanessa were very welcoming hosts, the room was great value for money, spotlessly clean. On a nice quiet road, past the north pier, but only 5minutes walk to the tram stop to get into the heart of everything. So best of both worlds , easy to access the nightlife, tower etc, but quiet at night time
