What a quaint country pub. The rooms are beautifully done and immaculate. The beds are very comfortable, even the toiletries were of a high standard. I had lunch and breakfast and they were both utterly delicious and served by very courteous and friendly staff. Will definitely return!

The room was small. There was a small dressing table with one chair. There was limited hanging space just on a rail. The room was cold and very light in the morning. Very expensive, the.next night we stayed in a suite in a hotel for a similar price

The room we had (3) only had a small velux window which was opened and closed using a remote control. Unfortunately it also has an auto-close feature when it rains. The room was stiflingly hot for some reason (it wasn't particularly hot outside) and as it rained all night it closed itself every time we tried to open it: we barely slept because of the heat. There was an electric fan supplied so this may be a regular issue.. it helps a bit but is very noisy and with no source of cool air only a bit effective. I hate to think how hot it would be in a heatwave! Without some improvement to the ventilation I couldn't recommend staying here. If it weren't for that issue I'd have rated it an 8.

The location is lovely as is the pub. The room was very small but nicely furnished and had an excellent shower. The staff are friendly and attentive. The pub food is pretty good and the breakfast is excellent (at a fee).

£161 for 1 night without breakfast in a pub with accomodation is a little steep. No air con. Ordered breakfast for 9pm at check in for the next morning at £12pp. Only to find they had us down for 9.30pm & there was no staff in earlier enough to make it. Due to attending a wedding we asked months in advance if we could check in at 12 noon so we could get ready & drop our bags. Received a response advising this would be fine. Upon check out a £20 surcharge had been added to our bill for the early check in without any pre confirmation there would be a charge. Thankfully this was then waived due to a further call with the reception staff a few days later.

Lovely village location. Rooms small but fresh, clean & contemporary and in keeping with the building.

Staff were spot on friendly helpful and good chatting with them. Room was really nice decor detail was high quality bedding was very comfortable shower sanitary were top quality. Food was amazing especially the squid. 10 out of 10 and would definitely like to come back.
