Three nights were perfect amount for us, probably wouldn’t stay any longer because there isn’t a great variety of restaurants or shops around, that is if you don’t want to be doing any driving on your holiday.

Sea forts are great, what a perfect base for coastal walks, swims and dinners. Really lovely staff! Having a shower also makes such a difference. The view from our bell tent was sublime.

Not allowing well behaved dogs (that don’t wonder/run off) off leads meant constantly tying him up in places. Which being a very outdoor experience wasn’t what I expected and limited us on enjoying it with him.

We were warmly welcomed, given our keys and showed around. We were even given extra blankets as the night was expected to be cold which was a lovely gesture. The views were exceptional, bed was very comfortable and the showers and toilets were done to a high standard and all were clean.

Very nice place to stay with a view over the sea. Great tent with very good beds! Nice terrace with comfortable chairs, a table to eat on and a barbacue. Very clean and comfortable bathroom, especially for a "camping"! Great breakfast in the Guard House Café. 20min walk to the beache and a small village with great restaurants.

The only point for improvement would be the fridge space which wasn't really big enough for the number of us staying and it smelt a bit funny.

The tent was immaculate, the view was stunning, the shower rooms were clean and had shampoo and conditioner supplied. The location was ideal, just a short walk into Kingsand and a short drive to Whitsand Bay. We'll definitely be coming back.

The floors in the bathrooms got extremely wet and mucky. Could do with some kind of absorbent mat rather than a plastic rack. Also no extractor.

We traveled here for our Anniversary such a lovely place in a beautiful spot stayed for 3 nights very comfy and clean. Weather was amazing also.

Information on location could be better. Turn off main road not well signposted. Different organisations on the same site not clearly identified.

Excellence all round. The best of all campsites. Showering facilities like no other. Cafe and food supremely good. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Great access to variety of activities nearby including music Wonderful countryside, good seaside swimming, great fresh fish in many villages.

The weekends can be lively so if that’s not your thing take that into consideration! When we stayed there was. DJ which was very fun. If you have good ear plugs then you’ll sleep great!

We stayed in the Sea Forts tents which were exceptionally clean and spacious! We were provided with good quality towels and nice comfortable bedding. The toilets were exceptionally clean. A big shoutout to the team for keeping on-top of them throughout the day. The location was stunning, we were lucky enough to be in the front row which meant our view was that little bit closer. The staff were very friendly, we had a few little issues that were sorted as soon as we brought them up which was great. The food in the cafe is lovely and make sure you take advantage of the Pizzas on Fridays + Saturdays!! A few things to note: Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner is provided. Towels are provided. You can purchase logs from reception we also were able to purchase logs at the local spa in Cawsand. A kettle, fridge and microwave is provided if you are staying in the sea forts. If you are planning on cooking definitely bring your own camping stove we found this to be really helpful alongside the fire pit provided.

This is the 2nd time we have come, and we just cant rate this place enough, it gets better and better everytime we go. Close to the beach just a 10 minute walk. The facilities are just stunning better than most 5* hotels for toilets and showers. Can't rate it enough. We will be back every year xxx

Amazing location overlooking the bay. The tent was spacious, with comfortable beds and charging port; withstood the harsh weather on one bad night. The shower block was excellent, showers were good, shower products available, and rigorously kept clean by the team. Excellent cafe on site which did great coffee and breakfast. Also sold wood for fire. Only 10 min walk into beautiful Cassandra village.

The bed could have been comfier.. however, how high can your expectations be for a tent!?

We bought breakfast one morning we loved and coffee as well as local beers often, amazing coffee!! Super friendly staff and owner that made us feel super welcome! Everyone were so nice and what a surrounding to make memories with the family!!! We were here on a 4 stay trip and this was the only tent location- meaning we didnt have much with us, this was not a problem and we could lend or tent everything! Huge difference and what a different and beautiful stay for us!
