little noisy as rooms are above bar parked in car park then had to trail down to bar to check in & get key to then walk all the way back up the stairs again. sign should I’ve advised no access to rooms from bar morning waitress wasn’t personable and unfriendly. no smiles. breakfast felt rushed as soon as we sat down our breakfast arrived. no time to eat cereal so that was left as no one likes soggy cereal our key snapped so we left our door unlocked all night no not water in family room luckily the other room we had the shower was working. reported it to be told they knew. breakfast was “ok” nothing special and disappointed compared to the evening meal

big rooms comfy beds clean and not cluttered spacious bathroom / shower room evening staff were lovely and welcoming plenty of milk for the tea & coffee excellent evening meal rooms are luxurious

Having to decide the exact breakfast time especially as it was a weekend - a little more flexibility in timings would have been great! Breakfast was lovely but the apple/orange juice was very watery!

Beautiful large size room, very modern, well furnished and very clean - we were pleasantly surprised at how well presented the room was. Good parking facilities and good breakfast. Helpful staff! For the size of the room, it was very good value for money!

As our car broke down on the first day! There was not much to do in the area without transport. The area is beautiful, but there are no real paths 🙈 Unfortunately the pub is not open all day, which would of been handy as we couldn't get lunch locally so had to use the local spa shop.

Lovely pub, staff were very friendly. The room had a lovely view and was a good size room, with a comfortable bed. 🙂

There was a bright light above the pub sign which shone through our window so black out blinds would have been welcomed.

Room was big and bed was comfy, perfect location for a wedding we were attending down the road.

We stayed in one of the rooms overlooking the road and the lights on the pub shone into the room until they went off in the early hours Also it is a very busy road for a village and the morning traffic and school run make it very noisy

The food in the evening was excellent So we were looking forward to breakfast next day Soooo disappointed it was cold and not cooked However we stayed again on our return from holiday and the break was brilliant Different chefs??? I don't know

Excellent accomodation. Evening meal excellent and good choices. Plenty of hot water for showers

No taxi available back following reception at Coombe lodge. Not far to walk but will need torch on the narrow road. Need to be very careful. Very narrow in places.

Fab place to stay for Wedding at Coombe Lodge. Well looked after. Staff very helpful. Full English for breakfast very tasty.

Breakfast had obviously been cooked and left to stand, bacon rock hard. Waitress staff not very talkative. Also booked evening meal and service charge added to bill, which seems to be the norm now, it was taken off when i queried it. Not a practice im in favour of

Narrow roads, but if your going to stay in the Mendips ,it is was it is!

The management couldn’t do enough for you, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and plentiful. The choice’s for breakfast to suit every traveller.

Uncharasmatic girl on service at breakfast who made us feel like beggars by asking for more toast, butter, and reminding us we had a bill to pay.

Toilet is situated way too high in the room that we were staying. Window was supported with a piece of wood on arrival which didn't feel very secure especially for a family room. Breakfast could be a bit bigger (especially for my husband). According to my kids bunks weren't very comfy.

Spacious room, which felt and look clean. Adult beds very comfortable. I would definitely stay again in this accommodation. Staff accommodated request for milk alternative for breakfast.

Spacious room, very comfy bed, great shower and facilities - and lovely staff who were lovely to assist us and help us out. Booked a room here as was attending a friend's wedding at Coombe Lodge which is only a short walk down the road.

Shower curtain could do with changing, and battery in clock. breakfast was ok, beans obviously microwaved need to be tested for heat before serving as two mornings cold, orange and apple were not proper juice, not nice, as a pub should have been proper juice, milk only full fat, not everyone likes this and yoghurts ran out. Breakfast could be better and more appetising, choices not great, no offer of more toast or tea and coffee. Did put us off eating of an evening. No chef first night, found lovely pub for food Plume of feathers.

Room big, though very hot, fan provided, which was helpful. Ate on last night in restaurant food very nice. Caitlin very helpful and friendly. Bed comfortable.

late check in. we had to come out of our wedding to come and check in as we would have been too late afterwards. would have been good if we could have just dropped off our bags.

really nice big modern rooms, good breakfast but a bit cold had it been cooked to order?
