Location was perfect, arrived by train and walked everywhere. Quex Park has a rural feel. The accommodation is very well designed with modern kitchen and bathroom and everything you need in a neat compact space. The bed in the mezzanine was extremely comfortable. Adjacent was the Barn with shop, café and restaurant, providing groceries and tasty meals. Staff went out of their way to assist which was much appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

There was no cover over the decking area as shown in the pictures so we had to sit inside the small cabin area when it rained , does need some TLC in places inside

We had a great stay in the shepherd hut ,you had everything you needed in it the bed was surprisingly comfortable , the farm shop was excellent selling everything you needed and more , the fresh made pizzas were excellent and good value , the cafe done a Great breakfast ,the staff were very friendly and helpful,,it's in a great location for exploring the Thanet area

There seemed to be alot of cobwebs around. When sleeping in bed and looking st the telly there was alot of them in our view.

Location was superb and ideal. Lots to do on the premises. The hut had all the mods and cons and it was all modern and clean.

Not being able to enjoy the woodland and being made to stick to pathways. A walk across an empty open field (with no closed gates or privacy signs) close to our accommodation, resulted in a woman walking her brown spaniel pup approaching us and threatening us with being reported for trespassing. She was aggressive in her manner and very upsetting.

The Shepards hut is by far the most unusual property we have stayed in but had everything we needed, from comfy bed, shower, to a small kitchen ( not that we cooked). Location was great and even during the really hot weather stayed reasonably cool! Thanks Queen Barn!

wasn’t clear how to use things like hob or how. to get hot water, would have been great to have that in the manual or have someone explain on arrival. check in instructions weren’t clear. basic things like tea and coffee would add so much value.

felt spacious for what it is, outside area lovely and enjoyed having a bbq. the bed was very comfy.
