There was nothing about this property we didn’t like , if only the English weather could be better

Set in beautiful surroundings this shepherds hut was perfect for a quick get away, Jo and her husband were extremely friendly and nothing was to much trouble, ( even when we didn’t listen and got stuck in the mud ! ). The hut was clean and beautifully warm it had everything you could possibly need for a stay away from home. And so so quiet,

Nothing really, I asked for a few ice cubes and hot 2 flasks full on arrival which was all that I required

Great little hut - very peaceful spot, neither fancy or basic just as expected. I have a nice BBQ and a glass of wine, listening to music with good views after a long day at work. It hit the spot

The grass area could have been mowed so it was easier to open/close the gate.

A lovely little hut with beautiful views. The bed was very comfy and I loved having the kitchen area within the hut. Would definitely stay here again!

We had to go outside in the rain and at night to get to the bathroom, but we knew this would be the case, it wasn't far and it meant we saw shooting stars when the night sky was clear which was a bonus.

Bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. Provisions such as milk, tea, beer and splendid biscuits were a treat. Host was welcoming.

This property was beautiful. It was a cozy, welcoming little hut with all the essentials there for you. It had a lovely garden area, with a quiet space to yourself. The hut was gorgeous inside, with the typical coziness we loved.

Great view - and good facilities given it's a Shepherds Hut. I think it helped that the weather was nice as we enjoyed eating our breakfast outside, but we still appreciated the electric blanket in the night. We also very much liked the biscuits!

I cannot find other things, than my idea that in good weather, sitting outside would be even more wonderful.

A cozy little retreat, in a lovingly made Shepherds Hut. I had all what I needed and the special welcoming gifts were an icing on the cake. The balance between privacy and the host checking in, was perfect for me. I was warm, despite still cold weather, enjoyed the fire, and the absolute silence from nature. Early morning, I opened the window, and while sitting in bed, I watched the sunrise accompanied with a lively birdsong. I highly recommend it.

I booked the shepherds hut for a little getaway weekend. The host was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Jo made sure that by the time we arrived the place was warm, fire was ready to be started and the electric blanket was on. Each night we fell asleep to the sounds of rain and everytime we went to shower we could say hi to the horses. The hut is located in a perfect spot, feels like you are somewhere remote but at the same time it's only 10-15 minutes away from Shrewsbury town centre. On my way back home I was already planning the next visit!

Toilet could be a little closer, better lighting at night as difficult to get to the toilet. Also no sugar but bought some from the shop and toppped up for the next person who stays.

Perfect location, lovely shepherds hut, really cosey. Great log burner. Ideal for 2.

The price was rather high. There, said it. I'm not complaining - it was exactly what I wanted, but it is rather over-priced. Other than that, it's one of the best places I've ever stayed - I was in just the mood for what it offered.

I arrived earlier than expected (my fault) and contacted the owner to indicate I was on site. She was extremely solicitous, promised to have everything sorted in time for my later return, and offered 'your favourite tipple' by way of compensation for her having been on holiday and missing the booking arrangements! (No tipple was taken - she was just so lovely) I had the best night's sleep I've had for centuries; the smell of the grass, the sound of horses snorting, the birds singing, the privacy of the hut, and the welcome to the place, were all just wonderful.
