There wasn’t anything not to like. No Wi-Fi but got small burst of signal every so often. However don’t be put off the peace and quiet was well received for a chance to recharge and relax.

Where it was located, it was so remote and peaceful, tucked away in the countryside, all calm and tranquil. The unique of the hut, it was quirky and fun! Something completely different and private. There was tea/coffee provisions in the hut, we took some snacks got the evening. Well equipped with all the associated items needed, and the log fire added a warming touch. It was great to sit and look out at the scenery all quiet and still till it got dark. The sleeping hit was comfortable and very clean. The shower was great, An absolute pleasure to escape the busy world. If that’s what you’re looking for then this is the place. The hosts were helpful and very friendly

The bed was quite high so a step would have been useful for older visitors. A microwave in the kitchen area would have been useful.

Spotlessly clean, self contained and in beautiful countryside surroundings - away from it all. It was cosy and well thought out and it was nice to bring my dog so he could join in the fun. The property was fenced off with a secure gate. Lovely views

Location, cleanliness, Tracey&Iain thought of everything to a high standard. Appreciated the little details & quality of bedding, cooking equipment, and little extra touches ( flowers, baking, drink making facilities on arrival)

Nothing to complain about it was perfect

Absolutely lovely hosts. The accommodation has everything you need, a lot of thought has been put into it. We had such a relaxing stay. Off the grid with no interruptions, sheer bliss. The scenery is absolutely stunning. The view from the bedroom window catches the sun rise. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. So special with plenty of walks nearby too. We saw deer running in the fields which was really special. We will definitely be back. Great location to explore Wooler, holy island, bamburgh etc. If you want peace and quiet to de-stress and get back to nature this is the place for you.

The location was stunning yet not that far from 2 towns and the coast. It was perfect for the relaxing short break that we needed. We had 3 dogs with us and could walk from the property to some beautiful places.

Tracy & Ian were lovely. The location was beautuful and so peaceful. It's ideally situated, away from the hustle and bustle of the coast but only a few miles from Alnwick, Craster, Seahouses, Bamburgh and Holy Island. We had a great stay.

We loved everything, the quiet location, the comfortable bed, the well equipped kitchen, the log burning stove. It was the absolute perfect getaway - cosy but with so many thoughtful touches to ensure we had absolutely everything we needed. Can't wait to come back again

Lovely surroundings, everything we needed for us and the dog to have a relaxed stay. Ideal location for exploring the Northumberland coast. Would highly recommend the Shepherd's Hut to family and friends, the accommodation has been made extremely comfortable and a lot of thought has been put into every detail.

Such a lovely area, very much enjoyed being off the grid. The room was ideal for me and my other half and the welcome we got was lovely. It was lush to see the chickens just pottering about.

The Shepherd's hut was comfortable, spotless and so peaceful. The hut is petite but it is a unique experience. What you get is everything you need for a comfortable and enriching stay, with helpful, friendly hosts, and situated in a wonderful location. The hut and sunroom have been very thoughtfully decorated, and i am sure the hosts take great pride in what they have achieved. To sum up, let us say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with its cosy simplicity and away from the roar of the world.
