Lovely hotel with a pub and restaurant in the heart of town with beautiful views of the sea! We enjoyed every single, delicious meal there and were treated so kindly by the staff and owner, Alun. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable with large bathrooms.

Only downside was bar was a bit noisy at night.

The room and bathroom was large and comfortable. Had a view of the sea which was lovely to wake up to. Breakfast was a good and lots of choices. Staff very helpful.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.Everything was perfect for us.

The Ship was the perfect place to stay as a base to explore this beautiful part of the world.Friendly,welcoming staff,excellent food,lovely, spacious room,well equipped,very clean & comfortable & the view from our room (6) couldn't't have been better.A seated area with 2 windows directly overlooking the sea to the front & the church on the hillside to the left. So peaceful & relaxing.

Nothing. We brought our own clothes steamer and didn't have to ask for an iron, but they might have one anyway

Staff. Alun and the staff couldn't have done more to make this a great stay. Very comfortable room and large bed (Room 6), with great views of the beach, sea, and old church. (This hotel has character and is not one of those sterile Holiday Inn type hotels with 90 degree angles if that's what you like). Personally I think the odd imperfection is perfection. Cleaners regularly seen busying around rooms and communal areas, and bar staff were on their game. (Dogs allowed in the bar.) Food, (evening meal and breakfast, excellent and plentiful), and a good choice of menu for both. Food has to score top marks, and is inexpensive for the standard served. Location, practically right on the extremely pretty sand beach. Parking, free (with a hotel ticket), in the nearby public carpark. Definitely worth a visit even if just for the food which was excellent,

The food at the Ship hotel is really good, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, but above all the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing weekend, Alun is an amazing host, the rooms are clean, beds comfortable food great in a great location, I would recommend the Ship to anyone, Alan is so helpful and attentive, if you go to Aberdaron stay there!

Friendly staff, great food, excellent breakfast, perfect location. Nice Pub , clean room with a great view of the sea. Loved listening to the waves crashing in the morning. Lovely bakery nearby.

Street noise in the late evening (rugby world cup was on!) was intrusive, but very quiet later.

A minor booking misunderstanding was quickly resolved by the proprietor Alun. In-house restaurant served very good, freshly cooked food at sensible prices.

Perfect location with sea views, with free parking across the road. Great selection of breakfast. The whole hotel has a really tasteful nautical theme with a ship as bar. Delicious evening meals beautifully presented.
