The radio gadget on the bedside table was bright at night.

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and large or smaller breakfast if preferred. View from room window was good too. Shower was fabulous with plenty of hot water raining down (didn’t have to run round in it to get wet like some hotels) and it was easy to operate too. Beds were comfy with puffy or flat pillows as preferred ( I had a really good sleep every night). Ideal location for us being so close to the British Royal Naval College and it was the cheapest stay in the town to boost. Staff were all very friendly, attentive and helpful. Can’t fault it. It was our second stay and we would definitely stay there again.

I can honestly say there was not a thing I disliked.

Just spent 3 nights at The Ship in Dock Inn. The landlord and landlady should be very proud of what they've achieved. Everything you might think you could wish for is provided, and if you do need something - help to resolve your problem is offered. The bar is small but well stocked, a friendly welcome provided by staff and locals alike. The breakfast was amazing, Jude and Mel are a terrific duo. I would have loved to try the Sunday lunch, but the breakfast kept me going all day.

For us, in room 1 the only downside was the 7.00am delivery of barrels which was noisy, (acceptable in a pub) mainly due to the loud, inconsiderate conversation from those below our slightly open window.

The property was well maintained throughout. All needs were provided in the bedroom - a toothbrush charger (!), plugs/mirrors in the right places, hot water on demand, great shower, lovely towels, Gideon’s Bible, glasses holder by the bedside, radio/alarm, king sized bed with good bedding. Lovely view of the river and just a few minutes walk into the town. Breakfast was very efficiently served and well presented and cooked. The staff are a credit to this place. Thank you.

Parking can be a problem, especially in the summer.

Only thing customers need to be aware of is parking if coming by car. We were given parking tips by venue which enabled us to park for free a bit further away however it was a bit of a walk on a steep hill. Not for those who aren’t up to it.

Location very good for central Dartmouth. Aspect very good too, looking out onto park and River Dart. Breakfast superb. Nice decor with modern nautical theme.

Location was great - right on the edge of the town, with great river views. Easy to walk into town or catch the ferry. Breakfast was fab. All staff were very welcoming. Facilities in the room were really good - fabulous bathroom. Lots of little extras in the bedroom and bathroom.

Hard to find fault with anything in fact I can’t.

The breakfast was excellent with plenty of food on offer. It was served quickly and a very pleasant server who could not do enough for us. The rooms were very comfortable and had everything you would expect from a four or five star hotel. That coupled with the welcome from the staff and bar staff makes the Ship in Dock Inn an excellent choice to stay while visiting Dartmouth.

Room was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Location very near to Town centre (5 minutes walk) Travelled by car out of season and nearby street parking was free. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely room with everything you needed including a mini bar. Fantastic bathroom and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was brilliant and freshly made and with a great choice. Friendly welcoming staff. We will definitely stay here again.

Tiny old pub with just four guest rooms on two upper floors. Super-comfortable beds, attractive modern decor, large ensuite bathrooms. Thought & care has gone in to getting all the little details just right.
